Good point sometimes Queens are leaders too you can't be feminine in the hood because men yank women into cars around here. One minutes there calling us 304s for dressing like women and the next minute we're too masculine just because our job requires women to wear pants to work. They really need to stop harassing women there's no consequence for them anymore.. sometimes they leech off there mothers in her old age too.

Oh, it is perverse. And it does become on the regular. But only a woman in the same life will get you. I have women married for 40 years to decent men telling me I'm not looking in the right places, I'm not showing interest. I'm exhausted waiting for the next inflated car insurance bill, robbing from Peter to pay Paul. I have to watch how much I spend at the Dollar Tree. Seriously. I monitor my aluminum foil, trying not to waste tissues (I tear them in half.) I don't use the paid laundry unless I have a full load. I monitor my meals. Don't splurge except maybe a dessert item occasionally. And I have some fool in my face being crazy. I'm exhausted. I have to fight for every single thing I have, and no man is sitting me down. I got zero after divorce because my (wealthy) husband had every angle nailed down and had friends he literally paid to make sure I got not one penny. My mantra is: I don't explain myself to anyone who doesn't pay my bills.". So many men think I am single so I live on nothing. These men think you should be gorgeous, loving, young, serve them AND bring home the money. How can any feminine energy be there, we're tired and angry. They need to STEP UP.

Feel you on this one day they are tie everything the next they are a stranger it’s hard to let go of the feelings you hold for them. I know I’ve been there. Even if you have the support of your family you do get lonely going home alone to an empty house 😢 but once you heal you just get on with it.

As a 51 year old, single, independent woman, who’s been a professional over the road truck driver for 23 years and spent two decades, nurturing a marriage only to watch the love fade away. I would like to confirm to you that you nailed it. Nailed it! I am independent, I do not need a man, but it is one of my greatest hopes that one day I find a man that I not only love, but that I trust and respect enough to hand over the reins and defer to his wisdom. Knowing that if he ever makes a selfish decision, it’s because doing what’s best for for me is what’s best for him, for us. I could relax I could be more carefree. Beautifully said… I have well over a decade on you and I knew in my twenties that unless I found a truly spiritually hearted man, I would be alone; many failed attempts at relationships. Most women have had to wear the "dress and the pants" in a relationship. She's been showed time & again that most men cannot be trusted or depended on for nothing. She's had to take on a masculine role in order to survive.

Same, I know I wasn't perfect myself buy men really don't understand why women work towards being independent and having financial security themselves. Prepared to share that with the right man but they see it as a fault. Indeed!! A man who knows what he's talking about! I used to be feminine and married to a man who was a good provider and protected me. After he died of cancer, I found out how cruel and unsafe the world is and turned me into having masculine energy.

In my previous relationship, I was expected to fulfill more of the masculine role from bigger things to smaller things, while at the same time, simulate the energy and joy of a woman who gets to live full-time in a traditionally feminine role… without getting drained. It was exhausting. It’s been over a year since it ended, and I’m still trying to heal 😔

I tapped in with my ancestors deeper than ever after God rescued me from many narcissistic people I was trying to love into growth but now I see why it was mission impossible because my growth was viewed as competition and they did try to tear me down and I refused to be changed for the worst when I was raised to want the best for myself. My old man, bless his soul, is the reason I stay independent regardless if I have a partner or not. I don't rely on my partner to bring something to the table, I can fix my own cars, do building work to keeping my home clean. I was taught I have to want my man and I want him for his kindness, his silliness, his comforting, his intelligence and more. Not need him because he has something to bring to the table and to make me feel "safe". I think more woman need to realise expanding their skills and knowledge is more important than anything else.

Somehow, you've told the story of thousands, maybe millions, of women around the world. Society, including not just "men" but other women, has scapegoated women so egregiously, many of us are constantly in a masculine energy because we had to become safe and reliable to ourselves. Honestly, it makes you a more complete person. The feminine energy is still there and exceedingly valuable. The world craves the feminine energy it's worked diligently to suppress. It emerges when it can but she had to be a man so she could be a woman in her safe space - her own soul. ❤
