Except the fact that the kid still has a room to live with you (he's literally right across the hall) and it technically upgraded.... but still wants his old room......
technically, the long contract is unenforcable. as it was not provided at time of signing. AND it is unreasonable to sign a separate document in the fine print
@targetseeker He couldn't. When he was living with Lenard, that was HIS home, so he would treat as such. Now he knows that it is their home. Though they joke they he treats it as his own. That is not really the case.
@@simonen200 while true, in this case Sheldon proved he can follow an agreement without rules lawyering/abusing the contract he himself made. Then again if Leonard didn't try to negate the contract we wouldn't even know that he already rigged it in his favor anyway (he was just being too behaved for Leonard to get irritated enough to use the contract against him).
Leonard likes to whine and complain. Sheldon gives him an excuse. Leonard likes having an excuse. It’s either his mother, Sheldon, or his girlfriend who is now wife.
I perfectly understand Leonard, it just a case of my wife complaining of the kids and there noise. Only for them to be in their room quiet for over an hour and that would almost drive my wife insane
Sometimes it is hard to leave routine. Prisoners often cannot “make it on the outside” since they are so used to order and consistency. That may be why there are “half-way” houses, but still. Without Sheldon Leonard cannot handle freedom or even basic routines.
Never understood why Sheldon and Amy had to be the one to live in Penny's old apartment to begin with. Sheldon showing Leonard around implies he's the owner or at the very least was subleasing to Leonard. When they decided to split them up as couples Leonard should have moved across the hall
Exactly! Sheldon was already renting the apartment before he met Leonard. Why did he have to leave? Also, why is the apartment manager fine with Penny and Sheldon swapping apartments like that anyway?
Leonard realizing It was a choice, kind of highlights how little attention he actually puts on Sheldon. A certain thing Sheldon does that Leonard never pays attention, do a detriment, Is how everything is basically agreed by them. Almost every single thing that Sheldon forces on Leonard, Is something that could have been discussed while he was making the agreements. But Leonard rarely pays attention to them, if at all, and then complains about it. I get there's a back and forward with them and how, for the most part Sheldon, forces everyone to accomodate to HIS style, however, even if it's not in a conventional way, he CAN be talked out of It and make compromises, it's just a matter of taking him seriously.
The thing Leonard doesn't get here is that people often behave very differently when they're at work than when with friends or at home and since Leonard is always only around for 2 out of the 3, he's not used to seeing the more quiet and focused "at work" Sheldon.
I hated it when they didn't keep there apartments. You would think Sheldon would have kept his apartment and Penny should have kept her apartment and by them switching apartments just ruined the whole show and you would have thought Sheldon wouldn't have left his couch and his spot especially his bedroom. The best was the first few seasons of the show and you could tell it just kept getting worse as they got older
THANK YOU. If you ask me, Penny and Leonard should’ve moved THE F*CK OUT, after season EIGHT! Sheldon is an annoying piece of SH*T and honestly, he deserved to get dumped. Penny was STUPID; she shouldn’t have taken pity on him. In FRIENDS, Chandler moves out, and Joey learns to live with it. The writers should’ve done that HERE with Leonard and Penny, and Sheldon is UNBEARABLE. What’s worse, is that in the Game of Thrones episode she sides with him, when she shouldn’t be. Also, it’s really annoying how she complained to a therapist about Sheldon living with her, despite the fact that it’s her FAULT! 🤦♂️
It was to show character development on Sheldon's part. Over the course of the show he became more adaptable and comfortable with change so by having them switch apartments was good.
@@elainagilbert7663 🤦♂️. No, that should’ve happened AFTER they got married. Sheldon should’ve lived alone for some time, like Joey did, and learned to dealt with his ass getting dumped. Personally, I never liked Amy. The show was better without her. Sheldon didn’t need a love interest; sure he was annoying, but he was “amusing to the audience” annoying. Furthermore, Sheldon is a character who doesn’t need character development; it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Keep in mind that Sheldon living with Leonard and Penny after they got married honestly caused a lot of illogical problems. Like for example, why didn’t they ever bring the table back from season seven? Why did Penny complain to a therapist about living with Sheldon as if wasn’t her fault to begin with? A better direction, would’ve been for Leonard and Penny to move out of the apartment, maybe like as part of a series finale. The ACTUAL series finale has a false sense of conclusion/closure. Chuck Lorre really knows how to ruin his shows. If anything, Sheldon foreshadow the way, TBBT was going to end when he complained about the show “Heroes”. “…,’Heroes’ gradually lowered the quality season by season till we were grateful it ended.” This quote said by Sheldon about “Heroes”, applies to TBBT; the last four seasons weren’t funny, and are actually depressing due to over reliance on jokes about the men being pathetic cucks, and the women being hot bitches who don’t really love their spouse (Bernadette and Penny). Chuck Lorre did this on TAAHM. That’s the reason why the last four seasons are garbage; he added TAAHM humor to the last four seasons, which is why Leonard and Penny were a lot like Alan and Lyndsey.
Would’ve made sense for Sheldon to keep the apartment cause he was there first and Leonard should’ve just moved in with penny cause that’s was hers before
@@No_Conference i'm starting to think chuck lorre is a legitimate cuckold and alan was his self insert on two and a half men, while leonard is his self insert on the big bang theory.
Wait, if it's set in EST wouldn't that mean that Sheldon is also in violation because he didn't renew after the trial period. For a genius he sure missed that.
Why is he suddenly uncomfortable with living in his office at the university? He already lived there for a week when Leonard was working on an all-night laser project.
While it’s impressive how far Sheldon has come didn’t Leonard originally move into the apartment with Sheldon because it was Sheldon’s apartment? Why didn’t Penny and Leonard movie into Penny’s apartment since it was in fact her apartment? It just seems kinda annoying having to rent out a room from your own apartment.
The key diffence that Leonard can't seen to pinpoint is that: Is not Sheldon's home anymore, is theirs. And despise Everything, Sheldon knows how to behave when he is a "guest".
The thing I find confusing is that the apartment is under Sheldon’s name and it would have made more sense for him to have it and for Leonard and penny to move in together in pennies apartment
Oh look at this, another clip showing Leonard being a freaking doormat (which he has been since episode 1) and Sheldon being a jackass (which he has been since episode 1)
leonard loves to serve sheldon and obey rules the way he never got to serve his parents or deal with any rules due to leonard never having to live doing fun stuff due to being sad all the time because of lack of parental affection. Kids that were denied affection have a strange assumption of what affection is. Sheldon comes across as invested communally for everyone to benefit from his suggestions, although him benefitting first. Still more affectionate than leonards family, and leonard loves family.
I really felt sorry forJohnny Galecki , playing this doormat role of leonard. Sheldon constantly getting the better of him. It has to get to your spirit eventually. 12 years of it yikes. Money or not , you cant buy your spirit back .
It's so stupid anyway. Sheldon should have stayed in his apartment because it was his' first. He deserves to have that apartment with both rooms without having to give away money. I don't get why they made it move in the first place. Then again I've only watched a couple episodes that I'm not the biggest Big Bang Theory fan.
Nope; it made more sense for them to MOVE OUT of the building. Sheldon should’ve kept his apartment, and Leonard and Penny should’ve realized that her apartment was too small for them both, and therefore moving out would be a good idea. It would’ve made for a good story arc. Sheldon accepting that running away and being a “flight risk”, because of change is a childish and immature response.
I honestly wished Sheldon would get what he deserves. I honestly wished they moved out of the building. Would’ve made a good story arc and good change for the show
What really pisses me off is how penny really is stupid when it comes to common sense. Also, if Leonard would have written up a roommate agreement saying Sheldon was not aloud to speak in any way, Sheldon would throw a hissy fit.
Penny was an enabling turd in the last four seasons, which is one of the reasons I hated her. She used to be one of my fav characters, but Chuck Lorre hired idiots for writers which resulted in Penny becoming the bitch she later on became. Seriously, Chuck Lorre is an IDIOT.
I Owe alot to this Episode I used that Eastern Standard Time Loophole to enforce My Boss to Cave into My Demand He was Confused I got My Raise He signed off on it My Contract was going to Expire at 8:AM Friday EST and he didn't exercise that option so I won 😂 Thank You Sheldon Rich People Don't Read The Fine Print
Penny is also an idiot; she shouldn’t have taken pity on Sheldon after season eight. Instead, the writers should’ve made them STAY AWAY from Sheldon after he got dumped. First part, is that later on during the Game of Thrones episode, Leonard is complaining about his stupid roommate agreement when if they hadn’t been living there, it wouldn’t even be a problem. Even worse the fact that Penny was complaining to a therapist about Sheldon living with her as if it wasn’t HER FAULT to begin with. 🤦♂️ What drugs were the writers on?
One bad thing about this show is it catered to Sheldon wayyyy too much. He was by far the worst character on the big bang theory imo. Next spinoffs they do need to focus on the other characters, not Sheldon
NO! This show was already dragged for TOO LONG. What’s broken can’t be fixed. The last four seasons are shit; let’s just live with that, or write FF that fixes the stupid writing. Besides, they’re currently making a Spinoff of Sheldon’s brother. Can I recommend something to you that fixes the problems with the show had? Sheldon gets more of what he deserves, and penny doesn’t become a total bitch like she did in the show.
@@Joseph-gm3qm No, you don’t understand; STOP MAKING SPINOFFS! This show had MULTIPLE problems after season seven/eight. The cast lost their chemistry, and honestly, it stopped being funny BECAUSE it relied ENTIRELY on jokes, rather than ACTUAL comedy. Jim was too old and unconvincing as Sheldon anymore, and Kaley was lazy and doing the same thing OVER AND OVER again. She’s STILL doing it! She’s a one-trick hack, and has been one for the last ELEVEN YEARS. If you ask me, they should’ve gotten rid of Raj’s character; he was pathetic in the last four seasons and I’m not surprised he ended up alone. This show is a rare example of a sitcom in which NONE of the relationships were honestly compatible or even really worth cheering for. I mean, almost every sitcom has at least one couple that you think is perfect for each other. Not this show; Chuck ruined it by relying way too much on negative toxicity. I HATE Amy; the show was better without her. Sure, Sheldon was annoying, but at least he was “amusing to the audience”, annoying. He shouldn’t have been given a love interest. Also, Bernadette had a lot of potential too at first, but they made her too bitchy, and it infected Penny’s character too. Bernadette and Penny became the same character especially in terms of how they treated their spouse. Also, what are you referring to “alternate story”?
@@joshuadesautels Dude, even later Howard is also the worst. Being a married and a father doesn’t change anything. He was an asshole to Stuart out of jealousy; that’s messed up. I Also, really hated how he treated the other guys. I hated moments where he laughed at Leonard or something when it’s completely hypocritical. Like when he laughed at him after telling him about Penny getting rid of his stuff, or how Penny was taking Sheldon’s side for in the GOT episode. Overall, this show should’ve had at least ONE best main male character, and it SHOULD’VE been Leonard. He should’ve been written as a sarcastic character, like Chandler. But of course, Chuck Lorre is an idiot.
Lol I may not be a robot human like sheldon cooper but I think I could outwin sheldon possibly. As an embarrassment, I do have a smartass gift by having a higher intelligence possibly so maybe and for my sam puckett penny sarcasm. And I look at it this way the more sheldon cooper absorbs 24/7 knowledge the more that he will not likely to be able to take a step back and also not having feelings at the same time
THANK YOU. Chuck Lorre is an idiot that doesn’t know how to handle his characters. Honestly, a much better storyline, would’ve been if Leonard and Penny had moved out of the apartment after season 8. Sheldon learning that his “social group”, doesn’t orbit around him, would’ve been far more satisfying. Hell, I actually wish Sheldon HADN’T won the Nobel Prize, and instead Leonard had been written better, and HE had won. I also hate Amy; her addition to the show ruined it. Bialik also isn’t funny AND supports genocide.
