One cannot help but smile whenever Katie sings and smiles! Her smiles and joy are so genuine and contagious. Great job Matt on the guitar picking! Great blending everyone.
Katie has a wonderful disposition and the most beautiful smile in the world. Many times smiles can mislead. I sincerely hope that she is as happy on the inside as the way she projects herself on the outside.
I’m such a huge fan! I will never understand the bitterness and jealousy of someone who could be so miserable to thumbs down on this. These are definitely lost hurting people that need prayers
Totally AWESOME number. Beautiful voices, musical mastery, completely enchanting. We will have to go to Branson just to hear these incredible and beautiful performers. WOW!
Their parents did a good job raising all of them. I hope to listen to them live. Your song will be a hit in Baguio, Philippines of they happen to hear you perform. The locals there are die-hard country music. Kennry rogers and Dolly parton are one of the best.
My wife and I saw this wonderful family in Branson MO. at "The Little Opry" in the Imax shopping Mall, WOW, what a show! Such God given talent! I have listened to Bluegrass from a child and this was so perfect and professional. Out of all the shows we saw in Branson, I considered this THE BEST! We love "The Petersen Family Band"!
This made my day. This is one of favorite American folk songs. My favorite version of this is Tennessee Ernie Ford's but this beats it. Great harmonies and rhythm.
Love this song. All the girls are beautiful and all are talented with beautiful voices, and harmonie perfectly together ❤ love you all from New 🇳🇿 Zealand
why does your first comment have to be on their looks? They are up there displaying their amazing talents. Lets just comment on that. If you must comment on their appearance, it should at least me secondary and not in a way that compares them to each other. Women already get compared enough, give it a rest. This isn't a beauty competition
@@jasmineleopard7593 IT'S rare to see beautiful young women that doesn't think the whole world owes them something and these girls are Christians and in the public eye they still shine .I just don't pick one over the other I was just trying to say they were equal in looks and talent And if you want to know my favorite song the Petersens put out its all my tears and moments.anything else you want to know just ask.
Yes....go and see them in Branson, I have seen three of their concerts. They were rated the No. #1 Show in Branson, Missouri by TripAdvisor. It was so nice to meet them in person after the concert.
Wow the girls r all beautiful and talented! Their brother is a really good guitar player! Nice 2 c they dont need gimics and technology 2 make good music!!
They play great music all so talented and the girls r beautiful! I wish they wouldn't play stationary all the time but nevertheless and with emmett Franz now with them on the dobro it makes their music and songs even better!!
Beautiful song, beautifully done. Can someone tell me how a song extolling the beauty of the Shenandoah River and the Shenandoah River Valley includes “the wide Missouri “, which is a good 600 miles from the Shenandoah?
The song is about a traveler in the west longing for his home back east. The daughter could be a girl back home, or the river, or the valley. Shenandoah is usually translated “daughter of the stars.”
Oh Shenandoah I long to see you Look away rollin’ river Oh Shenandoah I long to hear you Look away, I’m bound away Across the wide Missouri The Missouri, she’s a mighty river Look away rollin’ river Indians camp along her borders Look away, I’m bound away Across the wide Missouri Well, a white man he loved an Indian maiden Look away rollin’ river And with notions his canoe was laden Look away, I’m bound away Across the wide Missouri And he said Shenandoah I love your daughter Look away rollin’ river And it was for her I’d crossed the waters Look away, I’m bound away Across the wide Missouri Well, it’s fair-thee-well I’m bound to leave you Look away rollin’ river Oh Shenandoah I’ll not deceive you Look away, I’m bound away Across the wide Missouri Oh Shenandoah I long to see you Look away rollin’ river Oh Shenandoah I long to hear you Look away, I’m bound away Across the wide Missouri Shenandoah I long to see you Shenandoah Shenandoah Shenandoah I long to hear you Shenandoah Shenandoah Shenandoah Oh Shenandoah
@@Liz.Newton - Thanks so much. I heard "I’m bound away" as "I found a way". I'm glad to clear that up. Thanks everyone for such great music. When the Covid is over I hope to see you folks perform live somewhere. Cheers!
