Sometimes their food is good/they’re competent chefs, but the owners and restaurant managers are terrible

There's been multiple times on the show where he's met competent good chefs, but the management forces them to use dogshit and premade recipes / microwaving to save a few bux rather than have the guy prepare good dishes like he knows.

Sometimes i think that these restaurants are just fishing for compliments and they just call gordon so he can taste their food but turns out their food is actually shit and they get mad at gordon
