Kemon org melayu, mari tonton podcast ni. Korg mungkin tak setuju dgn dap tapi perbincangan ni sangat bermanfaat utk menambah pengetahuan dalam tadbir urus negara.
Wau, sangat menarik!

From a lay man point of view, the only thing I can say is "Thank you for your service and scarifies for our country". I sincerely hope that you can continue to serve in the future, Malaysia needs you.

Sincerely appreciate Tony Pua’s frankness. Totally agree on the challenges of policy implementation is a global problem (not unique to our country alone). Thank you guys for having this podcast (platform) to discuss our current issues. 🙏🙏 Happy new year. Selamat Bangsa Malaysia. 🥳
This is a good example of democracy in action. Democracy works, we went through very good lessons, good and bad, and most important there was no civil war and violence these few important years. Keep the faith in the democratic system.

These 2 Ex-MP were telling the truth that 80% of current MP are incompetent. They don't know how to "COUNT" or make policies. KEEP UP TONY AND OKM, we want to have more these type of PODCAST discussing about our nation issues.
Yep. The majority likes and supports MPs who advised the wives to speak like Doraemon, advised that it is OK to discipline the wives, complained that Menu Rahmah meals will lead to congenital diseases.
As a Singaporean listener knowing a little of MY politics, I must said Tony Poa is the most enlightened and rational policy maker who is down-to-earth and realistic. He is the type of guy to move your fragmented country ( racial politics, Federal Vs State ) forward. I can sense the disappointment and sigh in this guy. He is a real vetaran. Dr Ong has much to learn from him.
I've learned so much from this episode. We need more of these intellectual conversations to further develop the political maturity of Malaysians. I wouldn't have known the complexity and considerations needed to design and implement policies if it weren't for this podcast. Continue the great job, OKM and Tony. Looking forward to more sharing.
both are talented, fighters, results contributors, vision leaders, team caltivators, and most amazing is not power greedy. Hope we have more MP like them to come.
These 2 public servants contributed significantly to the country. Especially as discussed on the last segment, the Anti-Hopping law. The country as a whole should be grateful for this and more so, Anwar, in particular. Otherwise, it's almost impossible for Anwar to be in stable power. I hope more Malaysians truly appreciate this endeavour.
agreed! so kesian these 2 fine gentlemen were hammered heavily by the public when they trying to strike a deal with Muyiddin for the Anti- Hopping Law.
Tony , if Only we could still have you working for the government . You were the man as we say. Hopefully One day we see you again with the government. 🙏
Hello Tony n Kian Ming, pls come back to politics & lead the Chinese Malaysian community. We need leaders like you both bcos you are the highly educated young people who are very knowledgeable in finance, accounting & economics. Help to bring changes & revamp the education, business & entire economy of our country, Malaysia. Thank you Tony n Kian Ming.

My POV, rather than taking over the Toll highways .. I prefer the Govt funds the widening of the Federal roads. Build slip roads to bypass crowded towns. So Rakyat will have an option of whether to use the Toll roads or the non-toll roads
Would love to hear your views on the Sarawak issues with PH 1.0 that causes them to move away from supporting pakatan Harapan. We only know base on what has been reported in the media, issues such as payment of federal debts for repairs of schools, JKKK, no airtime on national TV that causes them to setup TVS, unfulfill promise of 20% oil royalty, the Petronas court issue, amongst some of them. Not to mention that Anthony Loke have to personally fly in to appologise to Sarawak when they decided to backed PN in forming the federal government after the 15th general election. These would make up a good discourse for part 2 of the Sheraton move discussion.
They should be our minister or at least MP. But sadly, other incompetent politicians are still in power and holding the positions while they the intellectual one left the party. Just look at Penang, it is rotting here, everyone is talking how terrible the current gov is. Everyone is questioning how incompetent, ignorant and even lazy the current leaders is. We need more elites like them, or else any good thing DAP created in the past will be vanish in another two or three years.
Yes, the criteria in selecting a political candidate to fill in a ministerial position must be based on his or her suitable qualification &/or experience!
In most cases, academic qualifications can only be applied/used in classroom scenarios & therefore hands-on experiences enables the incumbent to adjust and apply improvements/modifications according to the ever changing market situation in a logical & applicable manner!
I hope we can have something similar to senate hearing for cabinet appointments and key appointments for government agencies leaders. Appointment to key positions needs to be scrutinise early, PM shouldn’t hold all power to give balance.
DAP can work with PAS , and be the Kelantan Gomen, which DAP expertise and Discipline are very much needed❤❤Kelantanese never trust other Malays which they know very well but always welcome enterprising Chinese
@@zue1975 DAP and PAS have always worked together in their corruptions busting against BN !! and they were lovable underdogs which working class loved ❤️
The then PM who clearly and blatantly cannot be trusted, should common sensely and unanimously be removed. Should not fear the collapse of the then government. The general public want a trustworthy, corruption free, unhypocritical, and stable government. The ppl's government of the day will finally rule regardless of the composition of race, ethnicity and religious makeup of the country.
Certainly, TP and OKM showed logic in their thought processes, TP told the decisions of decision makers when he was in office; their discourses are way above in terms of intellectual depth than many of those that sound like five-foot way chats. It is sad that DAP leadership decided to keep OKM and TP out of the mainstream, my take is that a few of the leadership often talk with arrogance, barking but not getting affirmative response. Others feel these two (OKM and TP) may pose a threat to their leadership. Make public statements with data, offer solutions to the public issues. Do a survey to see whether the chinese prefer OKM and TP in mainstream politics.
😂Tony pointed out the elephant, complete lack of depth, tactfully. In fact it is obvious complete lack of competency or absolute idiocy😢😢😢 It is so sad that it is not at all funny
Different mentality between policy maker and politician who wants publicity, in my own opinion, people dislikes to hear unpleasant facts, for a policy to be executed succesfully and flawlessly, we need people who can address the details and resolve the issues.
As a commoner with No tertiary education, Personally i find democracy to be very Scary especially so when queuing up to vote! The whole nations in the HANDS of confused greedy angry noisy litter bugs acting as Proxies for very intelligent politicians with agendas for some group of people with STAFFS! If meritocracy matters... This Nation would leave SG far behind! For eg. SG dont have Klang River..to clean to beautify..SG only has its tiny island. Done by people. Cleaning up Klang River could even be a solution to the traffic problem! BUT it must not be implemented by a minority. It will be the Way it is for many2 generations to come. The System had successfully done its job...till one fine cool day... A Superman is borned amongst the majority.... Till then !! For long2 time...... It'l be Business as usual 😅
the current anti hopping law has a lot of flaws and it is useless. If they want, MPs in the government still can let the govenment collapse by voting the opposition in the motion of confidence.
We Malaysian in foreign countries will vote for Najib because he knows how to progress the malaysia from third world country to first class,, this person only talks only
di Indonesia rakyat di panggil bangsa Indonesia..di Malaysia tak boleh..thats why Indonesian language has been recognized by as official language for UNESCO..because they only have one race which is 'bangsa Indoesia'..di malaysia bole jadi huru hara if we want to do the same thing, as is calling all malaysian as Malaysian..huhu
His way to clobber the power of politics for himself, his family, or he wants to bring back as much nepotism and cronyism which he started???? Or he is trying to bring down someone or more than one?? Manifesto is not in his dictionary ???
Kian Ming, please stop drumming your fingers. It's distracting, and it's a body language cue that suggests you're either bored with the conversation, waiting for your turn to speak (hence not listening) and don't agree with your interviewee. It's so distracting I keep waiting for focus headshots throughout the interview.
I think... just saying.. if wanna spill just spill. Dont snarl and keep, wanna say dont wanna say type of conversation. Also... don't make it just justifying your actions, good or no good in terms of policy vs political moves type. Hmm... what i mean is... if you wanna "bitch" just go all the way. In my opinion.. you either go left all the way or right all the way.. in chinese we say.. two way ends at no harbour.
Wao…over an hour discussion and ‘excuses’ was all you can conclude. There were numerous insights and context given about policy making, gov decisions, how the MOU was negotiated, etc. These are great insights for Malaysians like myself who don’t know how the backends work. So speak for yourself when you said nobody wants to hear because based on the comments and views, it seems like many Malaysians want to know!

sayang sayang 3992, Harta Kekayaan yg dimiliki dgn usaha mereka sendiri dibahagikan sama rata kpd semua rakyat? Ini adilkah?
