WOW. WHAT AN INSIGHT! We have 1 more politician that we'll speaking to. Any guesses? ALSOOO... Join us for our upcoming【Financial Literacy Month】 Sign-up now! 👉 bit.ly/NYF2023
1. YB KJ his idea on education and healthcare. 2. Maybe Johor Prince 3. NAJIB 4.maszlee malik 5. Ustaz ebit/ mohd asri zainul abidin 6. Also a YB who can help us with unreasonable jam at the JB side before getting into CIQ , JB. Too many development mainly concentrates at CIQ. Takes 3 hrs to reach JB custom but 10 min to clear spore side.doesnt make sense. Not forgetting abang JPJ who takes monthly duit kopi from private hire cars and letting these car skip long Q before custom. Some of the random picks. Will suggest more next time.
Making money should be a routine A weak dollar can signal an economic downturn, making me to ponder on what are the best possible ways to hedge against inflation, and I've overheard people say inflation is a money-eater thus worried about my savings around $200k..
As with an my big financial decision, it’s important to keep your guard’s up for economic risks. However, smart planning, time management and seeking advise from a financial adviser can help keep you and your money safe.
financial security through diligent saving and investing should be on top of everyone's priority ASAP. I really need some guidance can this Fin coach guide me in this unstable times and why do you trust them much?
I have a few respect for Tony Pua , as one of the early whistleblower for 1mdb scandal . I can say that Tony also has matured in politics throughout the years. He has his own opinion without fully based on his party. And clearly , Co-gov is better than a monopoly like those days of BN-only gov. We can see those in gov who corrupt been charged and deserved the punishment of law, there's more transparency and no abuse of power
As one of the new generation I don’t really mind who run the country, or to be more accurate which race from what party, as long as malaysia can become better. I’m sick of how my parents teach me to link politics with races and who to vote in order to defend our race, there’s so much topics we have to pay attention now. Go malaysia 🇲🇾
Excellent answers by Tony and I learned new things about how opposition and govt now can work together because no one has solid majority. Interviewer asked key questions and allowed Tony the time and space to provide context and examples 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽👍🏼Well done
Thank you. Tony PUA, you have brought up bright ideas. You have headhunted Hannah Yeoh, Yeo Bee Yin. Probably others I am unaware. You have mentored them.We will miss you in Parliament with your insight into crucial issues facing the nation and abroad which also have Impact on us. Hope you will write to the newspapers and also Have interviews. Share your wisdom. Thank you.
Tony Pua's conclusion I believe has convinced many voters to decide which political parties to vote for a better Malaysia. Thanks Tony for your superb comments about the scenarios of both the pre & post GE15.
Hahahah. As an ex SG PR Malaysia. All I can say is Malaysia is sinking titanic with butt up vertically and 1/3 left above the sea level. Why vote or win anything this GE? Let them face their own corruption and dooms. Let the captain whole crews sinks with their ship. 2023 is gonna be far worst and nuclear ww3 is very high prospect. Do not waste efforts.
Would love to have Tony Pua with the likes of Hannah Yeoh, Rafizi, Anwar, Gobind, Anthony Loke, Nurul Izzah, Wan Azizah, Lim Lip Eng, Teo Nie, Steven Sim, Teresa Kok, YBY, Kashturi Patto, Santiago, etc. run the country.
Great interview! First time voter here and it's been hard to get some insider views on the political scene without getting overwhelmed. I love that YB is honest that there are idiots on both sides haha.
I have to say this is 1 of the better podcast in Malaysia where the host lets the guest talk. There are just too many that interrupts the guest and really disrupts the flow of what the guest wants to deliver. Well done. Also, I hope you can bring in someone from PN or UMNO or whoever to also talk about what are they going to do.
Sad to see TP and OKM stepping down. The two are honest, down to earth politician who is trying to do the right thing. Doing the right thing is always not easy, but just remember, doing the right thing is always right And most general public probably won’t understand the ideas & impact of some of the ideas they came out with. Kudos to the 2 politician - TP & Dr.OKM who is giving their best to play their part in shaping Malaysia into a better future
totally agree. it’s not easy, when u do it well, it’s your job. when it’s not done well u will be criticize. but that’s the price to pay as a leader sometimes. like he say as well there’s no perfect politician all has flaws
Totally agree 👍. Two very honest man trying to do the right thing for more mature politics. Not many understood them when they show intent and voice to work with Muhyiddin for some critical reforms
Honestly & intelligent are not the qualities of politician the rakyat want in Malaysia….soo sad…Most Malaysian …..especially businessman prefer big mouth & crooks 😅😢 😢
half thru this talk. i must say i enjoyed it. very relax and open. tony is very articulate. and i understand politics better now. i think im gona finish this interview thru
Great respect for Tony. Speaks eloquently, candidly and honest - which makes a lot of sense. He will make a good leader in government. Probably could be attributed to his education and exposure outside Malaysia.
Vote for PH!!!!!! The only option for an inclusive Malaysia for now. I have had enough of racial based politics. We are all Malaysian. Tak habis-habis Melayu this Melayu that eurghhhh our enemy is corruption. The rich who got richer by day and they exist in every skin color. Geram aku.
@@razr8468 yes! Why not? Schools and universities should be open for all. Religious school should be put in one school too. If we can have different courses in uni, lets do that in school too. Whatever race and religion, all in the same school. If you wanna learn tamil, there is class for you. If wanna learn arabic, you can too. The same goes for other languages and subjects. But all share same padang, kantin, toilet. Mingle around. See friends of different colors. Bosanlah asyik sebut pasal vernacular schools ni. Orang yang sebut benda ni bukan nak improve school system pun, just nak go back to being racist je. By the way, vernacular schools are open for all actually, in fact more malays are in chinese school nowadays. Even UMNO people send their kids there lol
Tony Pua should not allow CEC to define him - he’s a brilliant strategist + the best thing that could ever happen to DAP. History will revere Tony Pua as one of the legendary juggernauts that mowed down a PM + BN in GE14. His extraordinary courage + tenacity to expose the 1MDB fiasco will be told again + again down the history of Msia. He’s far more amazing than he realized.
Problem is kampong folks have no clue how or what politicians do and end up voting the country to the Stone Age. Hence BN never campaigns much in the city. Only focus on the kampong sufficient for majority
Tony Pua I've always, repeat always not only enjoyed listening to yr talks/speeches but find them most sensible, your facts n figures are so packed with common sense n truth and your recommendations for a better Malaysia are so down to earth that I think if we were permitted I would vote you into the Cabinet. Yet its the intelligent ones that get "kicked" off just like what is happening to"Harapan" now between the "old" n "new". WE NEED NEW N INTELLIGENT PEOPLE" NOT PEOPLE WHO ARE FACING LEGAL ISSUES NOW."
This is top-notch quality content to raise awareness of the political landscape among Malaysians. Keep up the good work Peter, you've earned yourself a subscriber and like today!
Tony Pua had sacrificed a lot of energy and time in raising issues affecting the rakyat in parliament. I also agree with him that with the current political scenario in Malaysia, it’s quite obvious that no party or coalition alone would be able to secure a solid majority in GE15. Most have to talk terms with the ‘king maker’ parties AFTER the elections. Tony may be out of the race this time but his service will still be remembered by the people. 🙏🙏
@@KLHK1981 when Rosmah and Najib were still in power, who made video exposing their wrong doings? Besides all other efforts in bring up awareness of people in fighting corruption and go against the feudalism. What have you done?
Actually Lee zii jia can speak better English than Mr Tony eventhough he is just a sports man. Malaysian often like to mixed malay language in an English conversation. I am Malaysian Chinese. Many Chinese educated Malaysian Chinese criticise my English because I speak English using some malay words.
Thank you Tony Pua,for a good illustration of the political scene in Malaysia ,this should be read by all Malaysians of the both divide. GOD Bless Malaysia
I m singaporean totally agree with u its really realky sad case for loosing out sir, Tony Pua.. he is not arrogant he has a high weight of leadership.its gd he is straight forward n frank further too honest which is good for political leadership....truly sad of his current position hope there wud b changes...spiritual political power to u sir, Tony Pua!!!
Pls let all the corruption charges on DAP leaders removed again after Harapan won this time. No justice is done if DAP leaders are convicted! We should appoint someone like Tommy again to help us clear the charges.
Not looking at the Malaysian currency situation, Malaysia indeed is heading in the right direction. Unlike the last election, where elections are all about trends and strategy. Now elections are fair about policies and benefits to people.
Very concise and profoundly said. What the real government are, that he elaborated to understand the reality of political views. The most important is integrity, respect and tolerance for all Malaysians to cite for a good government with No corruption, no racism, no religious intolerance, but to bring forth peace, good education, good health benefits, good economy, special care for elderly, senior citizens to live with dignity, good governance, and prosperity for all Malaysians. 👍 🇱🇷♥️
@@cj-fx2kj Rishi Sunak is living proof that anyone, a non white Mat Salleh citizen of UK, can be Prime Minister in UK. So I see the same for my beloved Malaysia too, that EVEN any law-abiding Malaysian and EVEN an Orang Aslı or the Indigenous East Malaysians, free from corruption, can be Prime Minister in MALAYSIA.
@@TheOrable5135 you miss the point. No law saying a Chinese can not be the PM of Malaysia. He or she just needs to win election. By conventioan as the largest racial geoup is Malay, naturally only the Malay is expected to be the PM. A more deciding factor is that the Malays insist that the PM must be A Muslim Meaning Firdaus Wong is accepted by the Malays for that top post. This current PM of Britain blends well with BRitish society. And there is no vernacular schools in Britain. So there is less resistance to him becoming PM Just as no one ever think A Malay can be PM of Singapore, similarly no one expect a Chinese to be a PM of Malaysia.
It depent on voters choose the right person in terms of accountbility, leadership, faith, trust, rightous, justice, integrity, comimment not political money, cronysm, power, cleopotracy & deceived/betrayal unless we old generation & new generation are facing new challenges in 21 century
I saw the wisdom shining bright in Tony Pua's eyes. He is for sure a very smart person and a strong candidate for Minister post. Unfortunately, he chose not to contest in any area in GE15. All the best for him!
Good night my dear friend Mr Tony poh we rakyat Malaysia respect your speech is and you no all the Mafias story in Malaysians politicians property okay see you again from uncle West Malaysia Harrison's kl
What Tony Pua said maybe very true in a maturing or matured country…in Malaysia the majority race is the Malay race. As long as they do not vote on racial line then Malaysia is maturing. I do not see this happening in my life time. Corruption and selfishness is the reason.
Tony Pua should set up a political RU-vid channel to educate us youngsters about Politics, just purely facts pls Don’t tell me the big lies that the political party throw out up there
A suggestion to the channel overseers:Please provide Bahasa Malaysia subtitles on CC. I think the overall conversation is very informative and important, and should be disseminated for all to consume.
and PH actually won 80 seats, a random yet accurate prediction ! hopefully we can cooperate with another reasonable coalition to get the majority we need
So agree with all that was said by TP. Importantly there is realisation by political parties like PH and hopefully some others as well ..... that sometimes one has to 'compromise' and drop party pride for the good of the nation. Keep the excellent content coming Mr Money TV. Q !
I'm a Singaporean watching this, Malaysians are really lucky his heart was with y'all. We tried to steal him away with scholarship and he decided to go back to Malaysia.
Mistakes done by Dap in 22 months cost malays confidence in dap ..... What were they thinking .....signing ICERD secretly outside country ......Adib case ......jawi......terowong......pasir gudang ......drunk drivers........ Dap has scarred malay hearts extremely deep .....and these are non umno supporters .....
Very very good and mature conversation on the reality of our politics today. I'm very impressed you didn't dwell on what happened (and potentially get bogged down by details), instead focused on lessons and steps moving forward. Plus what an amazing insight actual approach and strategies behind the scenes. Good line of questioning Mr Money!
There are idiots on both sides of the fence - Tony Pua Happy to see Tony without the baggage. If your colleagues or anyone are offended let them be. Siapa makan cili dia rasa pedas.
I have been following the political scene since GE14 and this is going to be my first time voting! I enjoyed listening to this discussion, very insightful and interesting. I agree with the sejarah in school, everything has been filtered to make the government look good. After I started going to uni, only then my friends and I have learned about the nitty gritty truth about the government. With the GE14 happening and 1MDB case, more of us are learning about politics. Honestly, as a youth, I would like it if whoever wins the election would address issues regarding us uni students. Also, as someone who uses a lot of public transport, I would also be happier if it could be improved on in terms of affordability and time. Cheers, good luck to everyone going to vote next week!
Who will win ? MALAYSIANS, for sure! Anti-hopping law in force! No frogs in future! MPs cannot jump; their legs will be cut off if they try to hop! Maturity of voters. They will vote wisely. A clean. Trustworthy Government will be in force. A record number of candidates to choose from. Sieve and filter and get the best. For once, MPS MUST BE SERIOUS! NO FOOLING AROUND. THEIR DEPOSITS ARE AT STAKE! THEY HAVE TO BE SERIOUS CONTENDERS
Young or new voters are either apathetic or share and feel the pains of their parents so right to say, for the latter, they follow the adults. Forming a combination of different parties is also not stable as breakout is possible and forcing early General Election. Time waits for no one. We are falling behind our neighboring countries in most aspects if parties are not playing well with one another.
@@mustfasalleh2251 Now compare this with those who talk badly and execute badly, it's still a refreshing change. I think he not only speaks well but executes well too.
I really like all the points mentioned by YB but I just wanna comment on giving tablets to Year 1 students. So I grew up in T’ganu which back then when I was in Darjah 4, we were all given a laptop from the state as an action to encourage students to have digital textbook. However, 2 years after my batch, the state govt stopped giving out the laptops bc most students don’t really use them to study but rather to play games which is true in what I’ve seen. The main problem is because the teachers were not really into the idea of letting us students to use our laptops and some even hate it if we use laptop in school. Even teachers who wanna use the laptop faced other challenges such as not enough plug in the class for students to charge ther laptop etc. I understand why we started with peranti siswa as university students have better chance to charge their laptop than primary or even secondary students. But I think govt should focus more on not only giving the tablets, but how can we make sure that the tablets play their role in our education system.
Yes, it's similar to some West Europe countries...unfortunately you don't mention public in general is hating politician...and their system is so mature compare to us...over the years, dap, you have reveal your horrid reality
Sabah and Sarawak parties shld work 2gether with PH...baru true Malaysia...so many things need to be improved in Sarawak and Sabah...so much unexploited natural wealth and manpower which can be put to good use...interesting future for West Malaysians.
This is my prediction (not my preference and choice, but a rough outcome of GE15) 1) Semenanjung =BN 65, PN 20, PH 80 2) Sabah & Labuan = GRS 8, Warisan 11, PH= 7 3) Sarawak = GPS 25, PH 6 BN + GPS + GRS= 98 PH= 93 PN= 20 Warisan=11 BN+GPS+GRS+PN= 118 and will form the federal government. After that, Warisan will joined with total seats of 129
@@colinc52 that is democracy in our first past the post system... Whatever move would be expected as MPs are not allowed to jump parties BUT parties can jump from one coalition to another
@@dasteam7015 possible...but i give PN the best scenario of 25 seats... wouldn't make a difference as they will form a coalition with BN, GRS and GPS ( + possible Warisan ) after the results
KJ is very arrogant...he thinks he's above everyone...KJ will hv tis 'thinking' that Mr Money is 'below' him, y shld he accept an interview w Mr Money...well that's just my opnion
I think malaysia need to berfikiran terbuka for this election because we cannot fight for always malay cina and etc.I think we need to unite to make politics more clean
Good sharing but we are seeing more failing coalition governments e.g. Germany. Malaysia needs merit-based, knowledgeable leaders and not “political” leaders offered ministerial positions simply because their party joint force with the narrowly won party to form a coalition government.
Tony Pua is an ASEAN scholar who studied at Raffles Institution who produced 2 out of 3 Prime Ministers in Singapore. He is a potential Minister or Prime Minister had he stay on in Singapore.
He is an Oxford uni graduate too. He majored in Politic,Philoshophy,Economics degree. He deserved to become a Minsister in this country. Its a shame to see such an educated and smart person in this country get left out and Uneducated fellows with fake degrees selected to become Ministers in this bloody nation. NO wonder this country will nvr develop 👎
i think cannot leh... The president of United States must be someone who was born as a citizen of a United States Someone who got their US citizenship tough migration can never be a president, this is written in US constitution Maybe Singapore’s constitution is the same just like US
so Tony Pua wants to get rid of party hopping and corruption, but is fine with promulgating "tacit agreements" with anyone and everyone, as long as they remain in power or in some control
I voted for Tony Pua in the GE14 for Damansara MP, he won it, serviced us for 22 months. Although his service was short, but he and his team had given their best to service us and perhaps he is one of the many MPs that really want a clean and healthy country. Sad to know that he wasn't recognized by DAP and eventually pulled out from GE15. We lost a very good MP to be honest.
Reading from across the Causeway, Tony Pua, an Oxford grad who talk alot of sense, great articulation and potentially a great leader which SG had hope he could stay and contribute but his heart was with MY. But sad to say that his kind of leadership will not be accepted in MY racially divided dirty politics where self interest continues to dominate the political landscape. Sad to see his capability not fully utilised for MY sake but I wish him well and continue to fight for what he believes in.
Good analysis from Tony...agreed on the youth voting pattern and certainly informative. We need to cast our vote, even in an environment that appears uncertain
Great initiative Mr. Money and team. Might be good to do a short video to outline the voting process for the young voters. Like the voting day process, what do we do to vote etc. Just a suggestion for your consideration. 🤷♂️ But yeah insightful video 👍
Whatever happens, we bumiputras will never vote for dap. Even if we don't believe in umno anymore, we will never support the dap faction. I really want Anwar to be PM but unfortunately he is working with dap. What's wrong with working with Tun M. Dap who is desperate to join the Malay party because he knows he can't win on his own. Because Malay votes are more than Chinese and Indian votes. in Penang, dap can win because there are many cinemas there. I still can't forget the icerd event, my dap member spoke about Malay immigrants, dap member Waytha Moorthy said bad things about Malaysia in the German media, dap member Ronnie Liu said dap needed to be a cine majority party.
Please Share This Joke, me myself do not want To be King Maker, Me, want To Be Prncesm Maker instead, meaning by Myself, No body support me No Problem at all.... Tony Phua, Good Gov. Not only Never steal People Money but also Never Negligence as and when got To do with People Money so that Would not loose People Money at all.
