Breaks my heart a little, but I also have such lovely memories of the series. The show was, at times, a wonderful little respite and refuge. Thank you, Ms. Smith.
Days bygone and two gifted actors tugging at our memories . We are thankful for their time with us and the ability the had to immerse us in their wonderful world.
I discovered the Jeremy Brett adaptation of Sherlock Holmes a few years ago and loved it. The two actors that played Watson were very good, right down to Watson crying at Reichenbach when he thought he'd lost Holmes.
Don't you think it's painful to watch Brett in "Cardboard Box"? It was the last episode of the series, as you prob know. Watching it is a very poignant experience--especially the last scene, which is straight out of the canon. This is a lovely video, Miss Smith. Nice work...
I always wonder if there was a time Holmes and Watson invited all their friends and agents from previous cases to celebrate Christmas together in 221B.
