That is a very nice looking razor. I would like to see an SE one in a nice Orange. This was a excellent looking shave and your intro was on point. Great video as always.
Great Josh! I definitely want to pick this razor up in black to go with Stomper, which has been my default razor ever since I got a couple of months ago. I do really like the ceramic coating and it does make it easy to keep clean even though it has a matte finish. I hope at some point he does his take on an OC or even a slant as he comes up with some awesome designs. I'm glad you're enjoying the scraper, I had a feeling that it would be right up your alley from watching your vids. Have a great one!
Ayyyeee thanks so much my guy!! Absolutely beyond appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness! Hey I would be happy with some deeper grooves, but a OC or Slant would be sweet!
I think, thanks to you, a lot of Mike's razors got sold as I don't see a lot of options for the stainless steel razors and the cerakoted razors as I did before. My SS Single Edge is almost here, so I'm excited. Edit: The Karve Overlander is pretty much my #1 razor, so for you to say that this is like that...I mean I've been sold already a while back, but that makes it official that this is going to be a phenomenal razor. 😁😁😁😁😁
Probably the closest thing I've used that shaves similarly. It's always hard to compare one to another, but the DE head is very tame, has a good natural angle, and very good performance - all very similar to the Karve. The Face profile is different for sure, but again, I think it's a close match up. Appreciate the kind words my friend! But Mike's razors at the prices and quality he's providing sold themselves on their merit - I think people are just hearing about it. Both are good things! 👍 Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the SE!
I totally agree with you, about the finishes. Any razor that doesn't have even a basic polish is a big turn off for me. I hate all those stone wash and matte finishes and my hate started when I used the Rockwell 6S. I still have PTSD when I think about this razor. I have polished my Ti Blackbird and Yates 921, because both of those razors are awesome.
Hey I wasn't using names but I'm glad someone else agrees 🤣👍 Draggy surfaces for me tend to feel less enjoyable for me. The moment I get resistance and tugging from the metals surface is the moment I get to polishing 🤣 Thanks so much for the comment my friend! I agree both of those are awesome razors!
