Your videos really helped me on learning to build my own guns! I was hesitant to build my own, but Rebuilt one of my Kwa T6 last night..took out the Dsg build my local shop jacked up with horrible shimming and cross threaded screws. I gutted it and installed 12:1 shs gears myself, Shs piston and real deal piston head, did the shimming shown in your videos, insidious grease on all the parts like you recommended, installed a 50k motor...shooting 47 RPS at 308 FPS this morning. Thanks again and keep those videos coming....They helped me a lot!
Wow I can’t say enough how much this comment means to me. You took matters into your own hands , dove deep into your build and used some of the stuff I teach and preach and you had an amazing outcome. It’s different when you build your own gun vs pay some guy to do it. Who knows if they cut corners or care about every detail like we do. Keep it up and many more builds to come
Yes it was different. I took my time especially on the shimming! Probably took that gear box apart 10-12 times. Did the grip and half shell method to adjust motor height. Turned out great. I posted a short RU-vid video of my 1st kwa T6 build using what I learned..has the Tienly 50k motor In it. Turned out much better than what my local shop did to it!
I watched the shimming video and loved it. I think you would do a really great job in further explaining on how to tune the rest of the gearbox like cylinder head, trigger tuning, etc… love this channel 🔥
Well you just about answered my question. I just wondered if one drew a ton more amps than the other and if the trigger response suffered more on one than the other. My field has a 30rps limit so I thought these ratios would get me there
