I like how the SMT1/2 protags didn't have any magic on them and only used Phys and Gun moves. In their respective games they couldn't cast any magic either.
Adrian The Vulture The Demi-Fiend is a tricky one to answer. Because there are moves in Nocturne like Friekugal that is a physical attack, but acts as an almighty attack. So using Friekugal on Lucifer still works as he resists all forms of attacks, as long as the Demi-Fiend has pierce. In this game, his highest stat is Magic based, but most likely because Friekugal and Gaea Rage are Almighty attacks. For instance, Sanat in SMT IV has Gaea Rage, but it is a magic skill, not a physical one.
Some of those physical skills come from magical magatama its even weirder once you conisder that. Like the light magic magatama Nirvana will give you Divine Shot which is a really good physical skill that youll use for a while or how the Special Magic Magatama Satan gives him a really good really good physical party wide attack that also can mute. The basic answer is that Demi-Fiend is well versed in all manners of Magic and Melee
@@MantraMan2077 but he's a half demon who's one of the strongest beings ever, so he doesn't really count. And Flynn has Demon Whispers letting him cast any spell, only SMT1 and 2 heroes are just some guys with guns and swords
Stephen Hawking is one of the hardest bosses in the entire SMT series if you ask me. Not only can he max his buffs, he can also use Crack Code to smirk himself and debuff you to nearly nothing, and if he gets off Singularity Wave... *If your not strong enough, Singularity Wave will one shot you no matter what buffs you have. SEVERE Almighty damage.*
You can actually see Steve moving his leg during the first battle, foreshadowing his eventual standing sprite and hinting that he's not a paraplegic at all
it seems your endgame team consists of: The Mighty Nuke: Omega All-Around: Innana Support: Chiro, Krishna and Cleopatra Physical attackers: Matador and Satan Gunners: White Rider and Lucifer Fire: Adramalech Ice: Jack Frost Elec: Odin Force: Pale Rider Light: Cleopatra Darkness: Alice Almighty: Satan good shit mah dude
The Demi-Fiend might have been a pawn of Lucifer but his actions still were critical in setting up the events of this game and restoring things to the way the Axiom desired. No real conflict of interest here in my opinion.
Assuming that every Messiah would choose neutral is mathematically improbable. People are different and their experiences would shape them differently. 2 neutral, 1 law & 1 chaos are more realistic than 4 neutral for me.
Masao Uchiha "singularity" is basically a fancy word to say we don't know what the f*ck it actually is in a nutshell of course For example, the inside of a black hole is a singularity
Well, no. Only Aleph, Nanashi and Flynn killed YHVH. The most powerful demons The Hero was able to defeat as far as we know was Beelzebub, Michael and Asura before being assassinated. Demi-Fiend defeated an avatar of YHVH but Digital Devil Saga implies that he lost the actual battle against God. And while Nanashi and Flynn were able to defeat YHVH, they had to hold hands and sprout about the power of friendship and call YHVH an asshole to make Him killable, a far cry from what Aleph accomplished, who just beats Him to death.
@@StreetTaco You really have to complain about "the power of friendship" and not let good story telling be a thing huh? Anyways the only thing you can say to compare any of them are their feats thats all. That doesn't mean the Hero is incapable of defeating YHVH, because the story of SMT 1 didn't have him fighting YHVH unlike the protags of SMT 2 and SMT4A. But since he is a Messiah, he should be assumed he can. Also where does it insinuate that Demi-Fiend lost in DDS? All of the mainline protags have the ability to kill god or the equivalent of god, don't misinform.
@@jackour8167 @Jackour Correction: Massacre route Nanashi still had the help of Satan alongside with Flynn. Alpeh only had his partner to help him so Aleph is still the strongest.
+Darkslayerx01 Demi-Fiend isn't meant to kill Lucifer, he is only meant to defeat him in combat to prove that he is worthy to fight beside him in war against God.
@@IPWNEDSASUKEANDKIRA just finished the game and DLC, tbh, what I get from this is that all of em have the potential to kill god, so I don't think Demifiend or any of the messiahs are bitches of someone, they all could end up being like Nanashi in the massacre ending as far as we know
The part at 22:58 will always get me. When Flynn says he will save you, I very much believe he will. Yes the other protags are awesome with their fancy skills, but Flynn is the healer, you don't mess with the healer of the party!!!
You thought the Reaper and YHVH was hard? The man in the wheelchair can kill them with ease. He just prefers to travel around *observing* compared to a certain god we have to kill either way...
And the demi-fiend ends it with the face lazer! Dear lucifer it is awesome seeing Aleph and the demi-fiend in action again. Thank you omega for taking us on this demon infested ride...now if only I could get enough money for a copy of sun and moon.
I love how even though it's unintentional, when Stephen stands up, he's posing like, "Bring it b----es!" Reminds me of Adachi's battle intro sequence in Persona 4.
Considering this dude is the most powerful being in the entire SMT franchise (and that's including DDS, Persona, Devil Survivor and others), it wouldn't be a surprise.
If Steven is strong enough to take on every SMT Protagonist AND the last one's entire set of OP demons, why the fuck doesn't he just pimp slap YHVH and tell him to cut that timeline bending shit out? If Aleph can take out the floating Simpson head himself, I THINK Stephen can realistically treat him like a naughty child and just spank him to make him stop.
Hell yea. He can take on any other JRPG protagonist as he manage to defeat demons and other powerful humans on his own and with just his partner and team of demons
"I won't go easy on anyone who gets in my way, even the prime minister." Does anyone know what in the hell this is supposed to mean? Is "prime minister" actually referring to Lucifer? Very strange way of putting it.
I'd say it's bad writing, it's even written as that in the original version. I had suspicion the writer doesn't even knows the full messiahs' stories and just write what seems right with it.
It was foreshadowing. In SMT V, the Nahobino is made by combining the proto fiend (clone of the prime minister) and you, the player. Which technically makes you a prime minister. It was foreshadowing the demi fiend boss fight.
Considering that it took Nanashi and his band of Demons/Allies, alongside The Hero, Aleph, Demi-Fiend and Flynn to defeat Stephen... Yeah. Throw Nahobino into the equation and YHVH doesn't stand a chance.
*bows down* Orz (I could not finish this quest for the life of me...) This was awesome and intense! I really enjoyed your playthrough! It helped me get through my file! Would love to see your Pokémon videos later~ ^_^
That was awesome! :D Thank you for sharing your adventure, Omega! It's always fun to watch you play an Atlus game! ...Any chance in trying Strange Journey or some of the others in the future?
An awesome DLC content, but question... What was the theme that plays during the first phase of Stephens fight? I search on RU-vid, but still can't find it
Must be a pretty big slap in the face for knowing the only ones who are actual threats too you are just a bunch of kids lmao. The apocalypse main character is 15 and i think Flynn is the oldest being 18.
Duwang of the year in this order: Self(SMT4) Battle B1 ( SMT4 Boss Theme) Confrontation ( SMT4) To become God's Enemy ( SMT4 A) The Great Spirit Hope (SMT 4)
zero hunter 12:30 was resolved, but i still wondering about that talk bgm (7:35 for example, that's what i mean) none of these listed. thanks after all ;)
In the law ending in SMT IV Merkabah calls the Yamato reactor "The great Abaddon" I think that's what he's referring to. Edit: Actually I think the "Great Abaddon" is the black hole created by the Yamato reactor. Rather than the reactor itself.
Quick question to anyone that might know: after fighting Stephen once I still can't tell what use his Calamity Code has other than doing moderate damage and being a reprieve from the other nasty stuff he can hit you with. Can anyone help me shed some light on that? Am I missing a function that makes it more deadly or useful?
Quoted from the wiki: "Medium almighty damage with chance of charm/bind/panic to one foe." It has the same effect as Planned Chaos, a move that the final boss' second form uses.
