The fundamental slide can be performed side to side or forward and back with bent or straight legs. Keeping a low center of gravity and engaging the obliques (for side to side) while pulling the belly button in will help give you a strong gooey look. Experiment with this movement by using angles changes, timing changes or switching between releve and flat footed positions. This can be an independent movement or a quality used to inform other more complex movements.
