Hi As usual great video, always enjoy them and find them both entertaining and informative. Nominal question, I fish with a fixed spool reel, using straight 70lb shockleader when conger fishing and tapered shockleader (Varivas) when fishing for rays, could you advise which knot(s) you would recommend ? If different to this video, you may consider making a video showing same for us fixed spool users ! Many thanks in advance of your response Go Steady regards
Pass the tag through twice when making the overhand knot, then when you pull it tight hold tension on it for a good few seconds which helps tighten it that last little bit
Hi Dean. Watch all your tutorials and find them very informative. Doing the Bimini Twist when you say around both legs twice I couldn't see what you meant sorry as your wrist and the distance made that part difficult to see for me.
To close the knot he did a half hitch in the left side of the loop and another half hitch in the right side of the loop. After that, he did a 3 complete turns to both (left and right) lines of the loop to close the knot. Greetings and Merry Christmas! In the next link you can see those steps better: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jahddqzKhLY.html
