Our first Canada Day in over 5 years!
Canada Day is celebrated on July 1st. It is a long weekend, and most people go to the cottage or go camping away from the city. Many families also gather together for some BBQ, and the rest gather in their local city hall to celebrate with music, food, and fireworks. We went to Mississauga Celebration Square to see how Canadians celebrate Canada Day. We see lots of newcomers, immigrants, and new Canadians celebrating. We are so happy to see of how proud they are to be Canadian. It shows the uniqueness of Canada with its multicultural diversity, and yet we all come together to celebrate this important day.
