I’d throw the rattle cans away I see the epoxy is a 2 part but your build primer should be too, epoxy needs an 80 grit metal scratch to adhere too, after that do your filler work on top if the brand of epoxy you have allows for it, then more epoxy on the filler and any bare metal sand thrus then do your high build on top of that in 180, then work to 320 then 400 before sealer then base then clear, use a guide coat between each step to check for waves, dents, and previous grit scratches you still have to sand out, I would also look into a bigger air compressor as paint guns require a lot of cfm and need clean dry air, good luck!
