Yeah I'd really like to know about Veja. Very tempted to get them but I just hear too many complaints about the quality.

Try minimalist shoes if you can find a pair at a reasonable price. $20 water shoes at Walmart work great. ($100 for a rubber sole sock is ridiculous) Vibrams has won an award for inventing the most durable and flexible shoe soles. They're even doing collabs with military boot companies. They have shoes now that actually look like shoes without the silly individual toe slots. I'm never buying Vans, Puma, Nike, Adidas, Asics, or any of that trash again.

I have always bought good quality shoes and have never thrown away a pair of shoes since my feet stopped growing, except for work boots, which I roughly go through 1-2 pairs per year, but that's because I walk literally thousands of miles in them.

I would be surprised if this shoes last for more than 6 months

you want to wear something with good vent then... i had different shoe for different season.. since i had warm foot... but nowaday as i get older... it not as warm so i can wear some winter sneaker in summer...

All my life have wore cheapest shit I can find and it usually works better than more expensive stuff. Case in point, 10$ supermarket skateshoes and 30$ FILA skateshoes. Both wear down as fast, only 30$ fuckers rubbed the toes at first, and sole gave out just as quick as the 10$ shoe.

@Right Round I'm pretty sure his channel is more aiming to test and see if it lives up to the brand's marketing and features as they are presented on the box. It's not aiming to provide scientifically quantitative data but rather to test the existing quantifiable data. So essentially it's just supposed to be an unbiased look at how a product functions without the interface of the brand itself. While I think you have a point in the idea that the sample size is small, in some cases this is actually a benefit as the products arent exactly cheap so you should expect it to perform its task and do it pretty well. I think video where he things like headlight cleaners is a good example of this. Either way that's just the way I see it cheers

Surprisingly I'd disagree somewhat, ASOS own shoes are trash, but they have some really nice brands on there now that I didn't know of before for inexpensive but decent shoes

@@lionellim1101 If you can't afford to pay more than $50 that's one thing, but a $50 sneaker is going to be very environmentally unsustainable, involve paying slave wages, and be more expensive in the long run. If you can afford more you should really should spend more.

"Genuine" is a grade of leather, and actually a really really shitty one.

nodnarb Exactly one of the points I was making. It is an inferior leather, at least by leather quality standards, compared to other types, and yet it is better than faux leather.

Lionel Lim Expensive is relative, Lionel. White sneakers are very classic footwear that fits with almost any outfit. I don't think there's anything as versatile than white sneakers. I guess loafers kinda work similarly, except white sneakers feel more effortless.

They're super beat up, but still wearable. I don't wear them much, theyre a cut the grass in shoe now. But why do people think more affordable means they'll disintegrate after a few wears? Better Quality is good, but definitely not 4-5x better because they cost 4-5x as much. There is a point in diminish in return on cost. And trying to find that point is always interesting, which is what he's trying to do in ripping apart the shoes, finding the best bang for your buck.
