Blocking shutter speed blocks also iso, so exposition doesn't change automatically. As i understand, your suggest is rather for stable cinematic scenes, not vlogging or action ones.

Just got the moment app to hopefully give me more range and help me make my shots better and so far it’s pretty good, I’m a complete novice but you just have to get on and have a play around with it to see what works best for you.. also waiting for the anamorphic lens to arrive so I can get some cinematic shots, then slow it down for some buttery goodness
Great vid. Personally I’d like to see more on how the filters affect shutter because it’s not totally clear to me. Didn’t know about white balance locks so that was cool, will have to try that.
I've never really been able to understand filters, and I was wondering if there was a particular filter (3-stop, 6-stop, UV, etc.) that you would recommend for me to start out with. I would like to start out with a filter that has a wide range of uses, so I can get a lot of practice with it and learn more about how they will affect my videos.
if you have an android phone the just forget about recording video using the moment app because of it just a basic manual app for android for now not much pro stuff is there
This is probably such an easy answer but I’m a newbie! When I try to film a self tape with my Tele lens, the focus keeps readjusting causing it to blur in parts of my scene. How do I fix the focus to stop it blurring?
Carsten Weizer I would just take in mind this is a pretty new app. I’m not gonna purchase it YET... Still trying to decide if it’s enough competition to Filmic Pro. Just to let you know Filmic Pro does have a bitrate setting for the iPhone it’s I think “Filmic Extreme.”
You should be real and change the title of the video to "iPhone" considering manual video is not available for Android yet 😣 and this would be so awesome with the Pixel XL 2 😶
On my Moment ap I am only getting 720, 1080 as resolution options. I checked the General settings on the phone and they are set at 4k 24fps. Know how I can access 4k from within the moment ap?

This App is great, dying to know if its possible to 'unflip' the video image when shooting through the front (selfie) camera? eg. To remove the 'mirroring' that occurs, is that a feature in this app anywhere? I can't seem to find it anywhere (using iOS).
In what circumstances/conditions would it be better to use a 3 stop ND filter vs. a 6 stop and vice versa? Having a hard time deciding which to go with.
Question for the app team: Why don't you have 2 options for shutter speed? One, auto mode will set the speed to double frame rate. Two, manual mode so user can set it to whatever speed. I'll take a free android app (with video control) for the suggestion. 😃👍🏻
Ok so I’m running the wide lens and I’m running the 24fps with double shutter speed but it makes my video completely white and you can’t see anything. I am shooting outside in the sun. What am I doing wrong?

Hey in this video at 2:05 you mentioned FPS. And shooting super slow-Mo in 120 FPS . The moment app only goes to 60 FPS. Or can the moment app shoot at 120 FPS?

I've heard of the new iPhones (7 and beyond) having issues with jittery video because Apples Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) conflicts with the gimbal's stabilization. He didnt mention anything about that in the video, what do you guys suggest?
Are you guys planning to add features that are available in Filmic Pro such as shooting in neutral/pal mode? And manual focus?? If those features are available it would be worth to buy your app.
