@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 tie a small loop of bank line or 550 cord about 2inches long to loop you pinky or ring finger through. It helps a lot. It's what I did.
Thank you my friend for stopping by. Yes modern day slingshot have come along way. The accuracy shooters are able to achieve is unbelievable. Splitting cards and lighting matches etc. Have a great day 🙂
I banded one with some straight cut, approx. 1mmx4mm rubber from a rubber powered model airplane wrapped and tucked and a simple shot small pouch cut in half. Also did another one by drilling out the dimple and used some 1632 tube band with a BB shoved inside to retain it through the hole. Same pouch. They both work great with a long draw, will put the BB through both sides of a beer can at 4-6ft. Super fun. Hard to getthe wrap tight enough so it doesn’t slip off. Filing a groove all the way around helps, and use strips of scrap latex to tie it, instead of that slippery band tie strip they sell.
Hmm interesting, I like that modification for a 1632 tube, might just give that a go and drill out the dimple. Appreciate the comment. Thank you it’s interesting to me to hear how others are shooting theirs. Thanks. 🙂🙏
I got one of those a while back. I may have to band it up and give it a try. Good shooting especially in that wind flapping the bands around with that little slingshot
Hey, thanks for stopping by, i still have the robin however because of the larger handle palm swell I didn’t include it on the video. Thank you, tiny little thing but shoots well 😁
Cool! Ive seen those on the Simpleshot page, but wasn't sure if it was just a keychain, or really worked.. now I know it works (and I want to try shooting Bb's) guess i better add one to my next order 😂
That's some seriously impressive shooting. I shoot BBS occasionally and simply leaving a visible mark on a paper target is considered a success. I like my tiny frames too, I've gotten my elevation more or less under control, left of the target is sometimes an issue. Wrist movement before the bands have completed contracting is the cause in m opinion. I hold the frame in my left hand like you and many other shooters do. Theoretically, someone shooting with the opposite hand should be complaining about being right of the target. In most grip styles your wrist is bent backwards as close to a 90 degree angle as possible. If there is little or no muscle tension because of a narrow grip, your wrist can more easily recoil forward aka left of the pouches center line. Essentially steering the shot at the last moment before the ball is in free flight. I've started including hooked handle stops on my very small frames. It creates a very cramped, even uncomfortable handle, but I have no concerns about losing my grip and it artificially introduces the missing muscle tension. It's not fun to shoot for long, but ideal for a EDC. I have more comfortable forks with the same gap for daily practice.👍
Wow! Thanks for your insight on this. I appreciate it. Your analytical skills never fail to impress me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. 👍🙂
Nice shooting!....I would like to have seen that footage from behind you to witness your long draw technique! Perhaps you could accommodate this request in a future video. I enjoy your channel
Thank you so much 🙏 I appreciate your kind words. Basically I’m pulling just a little behind my head and letting the band slightly touch the part of my cheek where I normally anchor when shooting with a face anchor. I will definitely consider it. Take care my friend 🙂
These are so freaking awesome I've been using the mini tops about to grab these!! I'm a newbie quick question what's the advantage to the longer bands vs cheek shooting?? Any info would be greatly appreciated✊️🔥✌️💚
Hey thanks for stopping by. Mini tops are awesome. Well longer bands are for long draw shooting aka butterfly shooting. The projectile is accelerated much longer thus resulting in more power. The downside tho is that it’s harder to keep consistency since with check anchor much like traditional archery you draw to the same spot every time. Some shooters let the bands slinghtly touch an area of their check to keep their shots consistent. Appreciate the comment, let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
Great shooting and not sure where you live, but you always have some serious wind brother ! It would be great size for some Redneck Regalia ( hung fro a rear view mirror ) 😂
@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 LOL, only reason I said that is I have a custom natty I made from Maple and Buckeye Burl hanging from the mirror in my F150 Lariat
Absolutely cool shooting with a novelty keychain. Good shot. Which band set are you using and what did you use to tie it on? Have details or links? Thanks in advance.
Thank you appreciate the kind words. I’m using a precise .4 band and amber belt to tie it on Here are the links Slingshot keychain: simple-shot.com/products/scout-keychain .4 precise bands: preciseslingshot.com/shop/rollbands/slingshot-rubber-bands-flat/ Amber belt to tie on bands: www.snipersling.com/products/amber-belt-for-band-tying-20mroll-not-sold-separately?spm=..collection_38c57768-2d5b-4ba6-9063-ca2055c8c29e.collection_detail_1.19&spm_prev=..index.header_plus_1.1 Hope it helps 🙂👊
@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 So, are you cutting your own bands to size with that .4 rubber-band item? It looks like that is a wide piece of material,… is that correct? Sorry, I’m new to all of this. Thank you for your help!
@@flhandster4395 no worries, ask away. 🙂Yes exactly you have to cut them to size. Most often shooters use a rotary cutter and a mat to cut them to size. There on the Snipersling website you can also find a template tool and ruler as a guide
Exactly, I had another picture but I choose this one because it shows it’s details a bit better. I figured being sustained on a delicate flower will show how light weight it is. Thanks for stopping by brother, i appreciate it 👊🙂
