I’ve been waiting to see someone review a pouch like this. I’ve seen others like it and I have been curious as to how they work or if they work. Thank you for taking time to do this brother!
I make sling shotgun rounds, I find BB'S are to light to carry energy, the power is divided among the BB'S. I use larger ammo but 3 to 5 1/16th steel, or 32 caliber lead. To make a shotgun load, I use squares of paper, put the paper in your palm and the ammo on it, close the paper around the ammo and twist the paper closed like a hard candy wrapper. When shooting the paper falls away and the shot group is pretty good, you can hunt. I'm the only person I've ever seen do this. thanks for the review, Keep On Shooting brother
Huh,well it worked better than I thought it would.maybe 6.35mm might work like buckshot(?) I think close is the key peeps may try using it like snake shot. Very cool experiment 👍!
Thanks Kenneth appreciate it, 6.35mm is a good idea, I agree it will work well for snakes or pest control at close range. Thank you for the thoughtful comment 🙂👊
Nice video as always. Very cool "Shotgun" slingshot. Maybe it can be used for pest controll at close range? Keep up the good work. Cheers from your friend in Norway 😃
That looked like fun! Thanks for trying it out and sharing! I Was hoping it might be a small game hunting option but doesn’t look like it. Maybe with some tweaking with the setup and shot… it could be? Thanks again brother! 👍
I’m thinking perhaps a .7 band with a 15mm straight cut will perform better. Will need to experiment with it further, appreciate the comment brother 🙂👊
Thanks for the observation, yes the XT is an awesome frame I’ve pulled great shots with it with 3/8 steel but this pouch is massive I was worried about the hand slap causing my hand to fall. Thanks for the comment 🙂
Thank you, bro! They can pack a punch with flat bands but tubes are slow. I think slingshot rifles would be right up your alley, bro. @@k.o.skeeponshooting235
Yes! Great minds think a like, I’ve had my eyes on those bug a salt, salt guns for bugs. Might just have to give this a pouch a go with some salt to see how it does. Always a pleasure to hear from you. Thanks for your thoughtful comment 🙂🙏
@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 I've heard you can do your own using an air pistol, loading a wad of paper/cotton wool then salt and a wad behind it, my air current air pistol is actually alright so don't want to fill the barrel with salt to try it. The fly swatter slings work too I made one like a "stick" shooter 1632 tube and with paracord for the fuzzy end. Keep having fun. Need to try some of your own music/playing for the background track sometime.
@@mrln247thanks brother appreciate it, now that’s interesting placing a home made wad for a salt shot. Nice! And yes I plan to use my own guitar music but need to invest on a decent mic 🎙️. Take care my friend I always appreciate your thoughtful input. 🙂👊
What a cool add-on. Do you think you lose any velocity or penetration versus a single shot? I was thinkong this could be a good addition to a small game hunting slingshot set-up! You did the Dew, haha.
Hey Dan appreciate the comment 🙂. I’m far more accurate with a single shot but for snakes or small pest control at short distances this could work. thanks once again for the thoughtful comment 🙏🙂
Cool pouch brother and great shooting! Interesting test. Considering there's no gun barrel to hold the bb's together that's actually not a bad pattern.
Great vid K.O.S Thanks for your time and effot...just subbed. Hey K.O.S Me and my little guy are just getting into sling shots what is the name of that little wire you wrap the straps onto the bar to hold the band? Thanks for your vid and effot
Hey 👋, thanks for the sub, appreciate it 🙏🙂. The tying material to attach the pouch to the bands or the bands to the frame is slingshot tying belt, also known as amber belt. Both Snipersling and simple shot carry it. Here is a link of it www.snipersling.com/products/amber-belt-for-band-tying-20mroll-not-sold-separately?spm=..collection_38c57768-2d5b-4ba6-9063-ca2055c8c29e.collection_detail_1.18&spm_prev=..index.header_plus_1.1 Take care brother 👊🙂
thanks for the suggestion, some people want longer videos some want shorter videos 🤷♂️ haha all good here to entertain and meet shooters from all over the world 🙂✌️
Hey, Broheim! I have men's medium size hands. So I'm going for the Scout LT (smaller than XT). What do you think about these pouches and shotgun style with the LT? I am concerned about the smaller fork spread. Thank you.!
Hey brother thanks for the comment, appreciate it. Can’t go wrong with the scout LT it’s one of my favorite frames. Shoot it a lot more than my XT. It will do great, the scout LT is 90mm outer width which should work well I wouldn’t go lower than that and for sure keep it OTT rather than TTF. Thanks for stopping by once again 🙂
Good day, where can I buy? Asking because I have a simple shotgun pouch and only can load a small amount of bb's...this pouch loads a lot! Where can I buy?
I got this one on Temu Here is the link www.temu.com/slingshot-flat-leather-bag-high-elastic-slingshot-leather-bag-with-storage-box-g-601099518921945.html?thumb_url=https%3A%2F%2Fimg.kwcdn.com%2Fproduct%2FFancyalgo%2FVirtualModelMatting%2Fc087a307f78c2b17800386abd6dc11fa.jpg%3FimageView2%2F2%2Fw%2F500%2Fq%2F60%2Fformat%2Fwebp&_web_cover=thumb_url&pic_h=800&pic_w=800&spec_gallery_id=2007240282&refer_page_sn=10009&refer_source=10001&freesia_scene=2&_oak_freesia_scene=2&_oak_rec_ext_1=MjQ4&refer_page_el_sn=200049&activity_type=&goods_name=High%20Elastic%20Slingshot%20Leather%20Bag%20with%20Storage%20Box%20-%20Durable%20and%20Convenient%20for%20Hunting%20and%20Target%20Practice&enable_cache=1&_x_vst_scene=adg&_x_ads_sub_channel=search&_x_ads_channel=google&_x_ads_account=1213016319&_x_ads_set=19694077634&_x_ads_id=149969032230&_x_ads_creative_id=648273749958&_x_ns_source=g&_x_ns_gclid=Cj0KCQjwhL6pBhDjARIsAGx8D5_PFp6aTjUrB53LCQVzaqTmXU9avzENv0_wMp7RIf1i1gchU5e7VqYaAjWWEALw_wcB&_x_ns_placement=&_x_ns_match_type=e&_x_ns_ad_position=&_x_ns_product_id=&_x_ns_target=&_x_ns_devicemodel=&_x_ns_wbraid=CjkKCQjwhL6pBhDlARIoAFOzlprVD5I-EuvQiaTrm16XKUmUGVZcBoXaNx5BAAjxYSCPtru4BxoC-Go&_x_ns_gbraid=0AAAAAo4mICGaprv4wQyxdC0Prk81iMmTf&_x_ns_keyword=temu&_x_ns_targetid=kwd-5681707004&_x_sessn_id=h6jf7iib9y&refer_page_name=search_result&refer_page_id=10009_1697676233570_38quplahw6
Hello, I was anchoring on the same spot, basically keeping the same fundamentals of regular slingshot shooting. Reference point, anchor point. Etc.. Once you know where the pattern is just keep it consistent, also reduce the amount of bbs on the pouch, I was filling it to the top and just missing a lot. Each shot will vary a lot. It’s more of a close range shooter. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 I like the shotgun pouch. I don’t know what all affects slingshot shooting but would less bbs shoot harder/faster? I worked all night. I might have fell asleep before end of video. I’ll rewatch now. :)
@@andrewfett142 yes it would bro, need to try testing it with lighter bands and fewer ammo see if I can get more accuracy from it. Thanks brother for the continuous support 🙂👊
