For the 88 Bird... I love the KITT idea. As for the 83 Z28, I love the idea of a Burgundy or Merlot color. For the 91 Bird, the blue is okay. I think a darker blue with metallic flake would be gorgeous!

The 88 would be a cool kitt build. But I wouldn’t worry about the kitt interior personally just having the outside looking like kitt cruising down the road would be awesome.

Yes you are absolutely right. Having this '83 Camaro in that fancy yellow brownish metallic flake color would be very nice, but...in the end a car in the original color and in original trim in an excellent state will always be worth more than a car in any non-manufacturer color you can come up with, nicley done, but yeah in an non original non OEM color.... this can be a thing....and why bother..? I mean if and when this very specific Camaro is going to be your personal car and the both of you will never part...then yes you may want to consider a fancy non OEM color. But in general an all original car is what people are looking for, especially a special car like a Z28. Now that Black Firebird on the other hand is the ideal LS-swap Drivetrain swap, paint it black swap make it a Night Rider Swap, due to the Low end version of this car and the low end engine. Swapping the Blue Firebird into a 5 speed can be very nice but can also be a drag since if you'd pick the OEM Borg-Warner 5 speed, you will most certainly chew up this weak setup, since the Borg-Warner can only handle 215 Horsepower, my 1987 Camaro 305 has. This is the reason no 350 was ever equipped with this Borg-Warner 5 speed undercarriage. GM did not want all kinds of damage claims and picture this: the 350 had only 10 Horsepower more than the 305 had in the day... So 225 or maybe even 235 I am not sure.

My stepdad had a 91 just like that when I was a teenager.

I would love to see the blue firebird build first with that blue you have. I think the Marketplace idea is great! The Camaro I would keep factory and the 88 would be awesome as a Kitt clone! I’ll be watching!

I'm glad your channel is growing. All the ideas your have for the F bodies are really good. For me, I'll just enjoy which even one you start 1st. My bird is in hibernation still but I'm itching get it out because the big snows we had last month are all gone and it's going to be in the mid 50s next week so we'll see. Paint the Blu one the exact same blue 💙 and put the fiber flakes in the paint job...

BTW I have an '84 Z in factory red with gray ground effects. Sharp car. I think a Kia color best matched at the time. Possibly slightly brighter. Factory stripes. Beautiful car. But sometimes I wish the red would have been slightly darker than factory vs. sliightly brighter. My first cars were a red 1968 Charger and red 1970 Chevelle; hence my interest in slightly darker red.

I would give anything to have my highschool ride back again (68 Pont. Lemans) so I would recommend doing the Camaro and recreating the one you had in HS. That was a beautiful custom paint scheme.

Wax and polish the Camaro. Save it. I had a 1982 Indianapolis pace car that I was going to restore. It turned out to be something a 24 year old couldn’t bring back. I’m 56 now . I ain’t gonna lie, that car was a blast. T-tops, 4 speed manual. It would have cost more than I could make at the time.

I'm probably too late to effect the poll but still want to say I would start with the blue 91 Firebird, but looking forward to seeing them all look amazing and it might be cool to see the 88 become a KITT replica. In the tv show KITT was supposed to be extremely fast but I've never seen a replica that's actually fast.

For the '83 Z I vote a deeper red but not maroon, like 1968 Doge Charger red. And possibly gold ground effects with gold accents in the wheels. Keep it stock paint style. Do add factory 82-84 stripes and black hood insert stickers. Replace the exterior badges all around. All up to you of course. Just sharing personal taste and interest. Search for maroon 1982 Z28, a one year only color. They do gray ground effects with those, but would not match the interior. That maroon would be too dark, but they sure are lookers. Thanks.

On the 83 camaro you could stay red but go with like a candy black cherry red with a candy silver on the bottom and some simple but attractive pin stripe.

The black Firebird would look nice repainted it's original color. Considering gas prices the way that thy are,I would keep the V-6 Maybe some headers and exhaust. The red Camaro looks nice repainted original color to. I really like the blue that you chose for the 91 Keep the videos coming. You are doing a great job!

I say the Camaro, back to factory red and silver, best bang for your buck results in my opinion, and it's not a over whelming project.

The z/28 in candy brandy whine would be soo nice. I have a white and silver 83 z/28 5 spd car and that's what I'd do if I was going to paint it 👍😎

Love all the 3rd gen F-bodies!!! I think both of your ideas for the Firebirds are great but I would keep the Z28 as stock looking as possible even though you could always improve the depth and shine of the paint. GM didn't start putting clear coats on the Camaros until 1986 and then they were crap and eventually peeled so anything you do to upgrade the quality of the paintwork would look awesome! Great channel and love your artwork!

My vote is the 91 Firebird, it would look bad ass with the hood you got and shoot it with that blue flake paint you have.. then top it off with some red or white letter tires with some deep dish Cragar SS’s!

Beautiful cars! 😎 Always wanted to do a kitt conversion as well on my 82 firebird, but as you stated the kitt upgrades are not cheap. Black paint rear and front bumper with scanner would be the most obtainable for me without breaking the bank.

I owned a new 1989 RS Camaro. It was a factory Midnight Metallic Blue. Sadly I had to let it go for family reasons. If you saw that color it is close to your blue metallic paint you have. Either blue would be awesome.

Paint the 88 Yellow with medium gold flake in the clear.

For the TA that would be a nice KITT to build. LOL

The KITT car is very expensive. I'd say restore it to the blue and slap a 5.3 LS in there. Make a sweet street machine.

Love following your projects! Definitely do the KITT conversion, even if you keep just an exterior replica. I agree prices for the scanners and kitt noses can be scary, but they regularly pop up on Facebook marketplace for far less than $1000!!! And a black Firebird will always be more valuable if you ever sell the car eventually.

Budget build the 91 ... then a higher end custom paint rebuild on the Z28 ... after that hopefully youll have enough for a custom KITT build .

No turbo trans am hood... It was meant to be but the 301 was dead by 1981. That hood bulge is the one that came with Trans Ams (chevy 305) and later in firebird formulas.

I would restore the Camaro since its an original Z28. Maybe throw some chrome IROC wheels on it. I like your idea on the 91 Bird keeping it a low budget junkyard part only car 👍 That 88 Bird i would clean up and sell it to fund your Knight Rider project. You should start with an 82/83 to keep the costs down on replacement body panels. Love the vids man...as well as the 3rd gens. I had an 87 Camaro and an 86 TransAm. They're so much fun to drive 😊

I'd still do the KITT build on the '88 just take your time and piece it together you will get there! That Candy Brandywine with a metallic silver accent will look sweet on the Camaro, I also like the idea of the budget build on the '91 Firebird, I would get the hood done with a firebird air brushed and name her pheonix! I also love that colour blue in that can! my vote would be the 91 next!

You should watch sprayway customs youtuber because he has done a dash pad for camaro for under 100$ and loads of awesome idea’s for interior . I have 2 3rd gen irocs and planning my own builds . With the 88 trans am the kit car would be awesome and probably get you alot more subs . I would do kit car last cuz of cost . Can’t wait to see your progress on these cars 😎👍

Definitely keep the 88 for a kitt build, after all you already have sourced some of the parts like bonnet and spoiler, ypu could even do bits as you go along seeing as kitt is just a solid black, you could get it painted up with the parts you have already and then add other parts along the way as a long running series And then when it's done send it to me here in the uk as those cars are impossible to find here as they were never sold here

You have a pretty good channel here and enjoy the content. I just put down a retainer for an 86 TA with the 305 five spd with only 74000 klms from the original owner, completely unmolested and original, White with red interior and the actual Bird on the hood, right down to the factory tape deck, just needs a really good cleanup and a windshield, I feel pretty lucky to have found a true survivor car with such low milage, when I get it home and cleaned up might have to post a video. The Camaro. Paint it how you were saying. I do think that would be a little cooler than the factory red. But then you would maybe need to add spice elsewhere to it to match the flare idk🤷🏾‍♂️

in my opinion, I would just stay focused on the Scottsdale for now. The firebirds/camaro can still be driven and moved around. The Scottsdale has still a long way to go. Does it have 4 wheel drive ? If not, make it to be one = more fun.
