This was so fun to watch. Talking myself out of stuff after making a giant cart is one of my favorite, albeit ruthless, activities 😆 tatcha does have a friends and family sale that’s usually 25% off but it’s later in the year from what I remember

It's nice to know that influencers also have budgets and have to talk things out!! I am not a math teacher, but can be a little nerdy, next time if you multiply your amount by 80%, you'll get your difference in one step. Always multiply by the opposite of the percentage off. This is light-hearted and with kindness. 😍💚

Thank you for walking us through your decision making process! It was refreshing to see you set and stick to clear priorities and reason for/against keeping certain products rather than just buying anything and everything that was interesting to you. I don’t buy much from the sale, if I do, because I only get 10% off (basically sales tax and some change where I live), so I have to be picky too.

I've become such a minimalist that when these sales pop up, I honestly don't even give them a second thought. 20 percent is not bad specially if you're spending a good amount and if you're buying items to restock. Blush was one of the things that used to spark my interest more but I feel similar to you, I really don't need another blush. I have found for me, that having too much of anything just makes me reach a point where I end up not liking anything. It's so weird but I love the blushes I currently own and I don't plan on buying any for a very long time.

YES, exactly! I'm at the point where my lip product drawer is overflowing and now I'm just overwhelmed. Time to do a big declutter and send products to friends so I can really focus on what I love.

I never thought of using the Slushy in the fridge, that’s genius! After you said you liked that product the first time I immediately bought it and actually have turned so many friends on to it that I bought 3 more to have in each bathroom and a back up! Also love the face glaze and gel cleanser because of you as well! Thank you so much for going into detail on every little detail cause I’m so sensitive to fragrance so I know when you love something I most likely will too!

I have the Mood Exposure blush and it is more “plummy” in person. Very pretty. But now that it’s almost summer I’m going back to my Clinique blonzer cuz I want to look slightly sunburnt (thanks for the rec last year!!❤) Edit: all I purchased was the K18 hair mask (my second bottle…special shout-out to Abbey Yung hey girl hey! lol)

You are my favourite skincare RU-vidr to watch!! I think our skincare tastes are extremely similar to the point where sometimes it feels like you're reading my mind!! haha The Tatcha Indigo Night Cream is also my holy grail and I die a little inside each time I run out of it. It's SO GOOD. :'( I have a feeling I might use too much haha. I did want to mention a moisturizer I think you might enjoy, Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Enriched Cream. I find it to be on par with Farmacy's Honey Halo moisturizer and I absolutely love the packaging! ☺

If tatcha is too expensive, the Korean brand Madagascar Centella probiotic-cica enrich cream worked really well for compromised skin barrier from tret or other skin treatments. I have tried tatcha but thought the Korean brand worked just as well for my skin.

I recently got the jvn volume mousse and have been really enjoying it. My hair is also fine these days and it really makes a difference. I think it's around 25ish bucks. I've loved everything from the jvn line, def worth a look

In terms of a new hairbrush you should really try the wet brush! You can get it at target, it's so amazing never hurts or tugs on hair and the best after the shower, detangles so quick! And its not just for wet hair I use it all the time!

This was a great watch. Really enjoyed it. I’m going to check out that youth to the people mask. My all time favourite mask is omorovicza Moore mud mask. It’s horrendously priced at £78 these days - yikes! That YTTP one is £31 here. It looks very similar . So going to give it a go . Thank you . Never heard of them before.

Good job cutting it down! I had to be really honest with myself this sale and ask "is this something I will absolutely use in the next 6 months?" because there will ALWAYS be another Sephora (or Ulta... or brand) sale around the corner. Something to keep in mind is that Nette has mini candles on their website... still expensive but maybe around the holidays they'll do gift sets or something? I want to try the chai milk candle but I'm waiting until I completely burn through a couple of candles I already have.

Great video-thank you! My favorite hair mousse isn’t much cheaper than the Oribe, but I like it even more than the Oribe. It’s the Virtue volumizing mousse. I believe Sephora carries it, but I get it from my hair stylist. It’s amazing, and it leaves my hair feeling fuller, softer, and completely non-crunchy.

You showed great restraint! I also start with a big cart and try to whittle my cart down allocating most of my budget to replenishing staples and allowing for a few fun things to try. I’m trying Givenchy powder mini, Haus labs blush, Saie highlighter in sun glow, westman Atelier contour stick in biscuit mini, Innbeauty eye cream (thanks to you) and 2 Sephora favorites sets. I can never help myself from buying the Sephora sets when there are a few products of interest. 😂

I was looking to buy a new concealer and Kackie was raving about the Givency Prism Libre one, but then like you I realized I have a collection of concealers that never worked out for me. Sometimes I can't believe how much premium candles cost, although I understand why, but they are first to be deleted from cart when push comes to shove. I wanted the Inn Beauty lip glaze duo but it went out of stock fast. I also stocked up on things I use regularly and a few new things. I got my cart whittled down to $ 306 and was happy with that. The Hourglass powders and blushes are wonderful and Exposure is a subtle mauvy, plummy shade which is one of my favorites. Maybe get it in the fall. I saw Nikki's video which was a mistake because my Sephora cart could have been catastrophic. Have a blast at Coachella! .

Tip to not have to double math: Take your total and multiply it by 0.8 (80%). With 20% off, you are paying 80% (100-the percentage off is your multiplying factor.) 🤓😊❤️. PS good for you on sticking to a budget. That was a brutal cut, but a responsible one and I love to see influencers do (and share) that. I recently caved and bought the Luminous Silk concealer in the same shade as my foundation perfect match (shade 4). First, it’s lighter than the foundation, and second, it doesn’t hide under eye darkness. I do not have real bad dark circles, so it really doesn’t have to work too hard, but it doesn’t cut it. Seems like based on what you like, you’d be disappointed, too. The Dior Forever concealer will keep being my go-to, it’s great 🙂

Hi! Great video. I feel like we have similar skin and skin issues. I am struggling with my makeup looking dry after an hour or 2. What daily moisturizer do you use before makeup? Anything else to use to help with that?

How can a brand not charge you sales tax? There used to be a loophole where if a product wasn’t sold in the state that you moved in and you’re ordering it from out of state you didn’t have to pay tax but that loophole in a way and as far as I know you have to pay sales tax on everything you order online now. I actually think you would benefit from the shark. If you want that effortless blowout look, it’s easy and quick. Hot rollers will give you a headache especially if you have fine hair and are time consuming. I think you will get frustrated and just chuck the whole thing away. I bought the shark and I have the same length hair as you and it’s makes my life so convenient when I want to curl my hair throughout the week.
