I often forget that I don't need to try all of the makeup coming out because I already have something I love and it is unlikely that something will top it. Consumerism and capitalism has me by the neck sometimes, I swear!

So well done. I love that you don't just say you like or don't like something ... you really detail your reasons and experiences. You squint and close your eyes to show wearability. Then, you add other people's experiences (like @hautemesstom, your Tom, @devanjesmer and @amandaz). THENNNNN, you share your results after experiencing the product for 1-7 hours. I agree with your review of the Glossier Foundation! I got that sample too and tried it twice. The first time I had let my moisturizer sit for too long so it looked really matte upon application, but looked better as the day went on. The second time I prepped my skin beforehand and it looked slightly dewier as you were describing. It wore beautifully but ultimately it reminded me of a thinner version of the Kosas Revealer foundation and that has the added SPF, which I love. - Britta
Dying to try the Merit shadows! Also, I’ve been loving the Tower 28 concealer so much. I didn’t love their tinted sunscreen, but the concealer looks beautiful on me. So funny how different products can work so differently in different people!
I love The Inkey List lip balm. The smell has not bothered me and I love the thinness because I cannot do thick, sticky lip products. We all have different preferences and I appreciate your honest and thorough reviews.
So glad I saw this video, I'm probably going to go with the Kulfi cream eyeshadows. Usually I go for About Face, since they absolutely stay put all day, I've just been looking for something that's easy for every day use.
I’ve always believed that reviews are just people’s opinions based on their preferences - doesn’t mean a product is good or bad, just that they didn’t work for them. Case in point: the inkey list lip balm. I really like it, it does plump and I love the no tingle aspect. I also don’t mind the smell/taste! Sometimes I do get influenced to buy or skip a product based on a review but I’m glad I picked it up before watching this lol however, I think I will try the Glossier foundation based on your review! Thanks for your honest opinions, appreciate it.
I have the same line under my eyes & a few extra I haven’t found a concealer that doesn’t dry out my under eyes & start flaking. I will definitely watch your concealer video & check out your favorites. Thank you!

I agree with the inkey list lip balm, the smell is horrid, I would like a lot more with a little fragrance. Also it is very thin, I will use it up but wouldn't repurchase. The beauty pie lip oil is very nice, want to try the beauty pie lipstick you have recommended ❤

Maybe try the new Danessa Myricks palette! It has powder and a pomade on it. The pomade has upsalite in it which is supposed to help with oil control. I really like it on my lids!
I feel the same about how much money I've wasted on eyeshadow. I'm only looking for a simple eye look. Everything I've used creases immediately. Also, I can only wear a few tubing mascaras. Soooo disappointing.@@wendygricken3369
I’m loving the Glossier foundation! I apply with a damp sponge over the Live Tinted sunscreen. I agree with your assessment of how it wears through the day. I don’t look like a hot mess by the end of the day.
Love the Merit eyeshadows! I have oilier eyelids and I think they wear really well. I have the two lighter brown colours so grain of salt there because the darker shades do seem patchy. They are defo for someone who wants a great one and done shadow
Oh that's great to know someone with oily lids likes them! I agree - the darker shades seem to have issues and these definitely don't play well with others. But as a one-and-done eyeshadow fan, I love 'em
The castor oil scent of the Saie lip gloss is the SOLE reason I did NOT buy it. It's so strong. UGH! I love the sheerness and cushiony feel, but the castor oil odor is a no for me too. :(
I’ll be skipping Saie as I hate the dryness it causes of products like that. But they looked pretty. As for Merit, I love them. I have insanely oily eyelids. But these suckers are on and I had no creasing.
I was tempted to try the Inkey List peptide lip balm but I'm so glad you tested it out so I can just skip it. Actually, the sephora brand lip balm is pretty dang good
I'm so glad you mentioned the MAC paintpots, I've been waiting for an influencer to compare the two. I own tons of paintpots and they just sound like a better product than these overall for me.
Just checked Sephora for that ole henriksen lip balm and they have a new flavor shade called lingonberry jam! Would love to get your thoughts on that one ❤
I find the Merit eyeshadow difficult to open and close. The taupe shade is so difficult I must use a glove or towel to to get enough grip to open it. Maybe a faulty package but the lock is very difficult for me. I do not have arthritis. I am 54. I can open a new pickle jar but struggle with Merit package. Enjoyed your video.
I think the brand said the formula required air tight packaging! We worked in beauty product development and this is common with formulas that contain volatile ingredients - the manufacture will note if a formula requires air tight packaging to preserve it's performance (in this case, so it doesn't dry out). They are tough to open though, agreed!
The part about concealers that have more slip and blendibility not being the best for the under eyes is SO true. This is why serum concealers are terrible for anyone that wants coverage or a formula that stays in place. I used to think that more emollient concealers were better for preventing creasing but its quite the opposite. This is why Shape Tape works for so mary. Serum concealers make great all over face formulas. The nyx serum concealer is of my favorite base products right now.
I tried the old formula of the Naked Sundays lip stuff and just couldn’t handle the sunscreen taste. Glad I didn’t fall for their reformulation! Blech.
I have really thin hair but my face is not as pretty as yours. I think your hair would look so cute in a pixie cut a la Demi Moore in Ghost. Your looks can totally carry it! xo.
I love the L’Oréal lipstick you mentioned, but it dries my lips out. Thanks for reviewing the new BP lip. I like their products but their swatches suck.
Have you tried Cle de peau, Lawless, Pat Mcgrath concealers? They are all reputed to be full coverage. If you have, how do any of them compare to your three favorite concealers?
