Totally agree, this was a pleasant click, it’s nice to be able to relate to the RU-vidrs I’ve enjoyed watching over the years, most are not relatable to nowadays in terms of hauls and stuff.

You might want to research planting Ivy especially close to your house . Ivy is invasive , destructive to brickwork . The root system is very tough, connected and grows several feet down . They are extremely difficult to get rid of and can penetrate pipes , cables , pathways foundations and kill other plants .

Actually that's not strictly true being a Gardner. As long as its kept in good shape trimmed and kept from rambling to much its a very attractive plant and its not true either that it destroys other plants such as trees either it can be very interesting structural plant .

@Cheryl Watson With all due respect - everything I said is 100 % true .English Ivy is an invasive vine species that kills even trees . It will literally reclaim a building left unattended. The connective tough root system cannot be contained.

I wear plenty of H&M. Paired with good shoes and a quality coat, you can definitely pass for more. Adore your Italian Granny what a star 🌟. Well the croissants were popular, it took us forever to realise we needed to put them in the cold oven the light before and they defrost and prove so in the morning take minutes to cook and, they literally are the best breakfast for the kids 😊

H I B E R N A T I O N Nation...!! Girl, maybe this is a chapter in our lives, but I can say that staying at home on a freezing evening, with the kettle steaming, spoons clinking as you stir the tea, the tap-tap-tapping of the puppy paws on the stone floor, the swoosh of a bathrobe or gown around your ankles and the deep exhale as one settles into the deepest spot on the couch, and the crack of the book binding as you open the cover and smooth back the pages... ah yes, hibernation, home and the appreciation of your life is THE BEST ... and I'm very happy you've come to this realization that the rejection of fear in your life isn't something we're taught; it's a rite of life passage, and you've done it! I remember summer 2021, I commented a similar comment about how fearing these scary moments in life was an opportunity to know of what you are made... to see what you are able to survive and how you can actually thrive in those moments. You were at the beginning of your journey then, and I've watched as you've made your way with your coach and your literature... You could have given up, but you didn't! It's heartening to watch another powerful woman claim her power, and wear it proudly. Well done, Lydia... 💚

Firstly 38:10 the way your hair falls, your glowing skin, the greenery in the background against the rustic table GORGEOUS! Then the framing/Mo Gawdat chat spoke to me deeply. i’ll be consuming those books immediately. the past year has shown me so many people’s true colours & taken the wind from my sails. so, i’m eager to add mo’s wisdom to my tool kit, thank you. i am the SAME with what i consume. i can’t stand violence, cruelty in any forms & don’t see the point in watching anything that showcases it. in fact most content available these days is utter garbage to be perfectly honest. i don’t mind true life stuff or period pieces like downton etc (ooooh i think you’d love “call the midwife” btw). can’t wait to see the framed pieces & where they’ll be placed in your lovely home. big hugs from Us xoxo

I have a very small circle of friends because my children & Grandchildren are all I need. I’m a great host though and love to cook & feed people but I also love it when they all go home and get in my comfiest clothes and read or watch my favourite programs & like you non violent things, it has to be easy to watch that doesn’t make me not able to sleep at night. Now I’m in my early 50’s I’m finally at the place where I’m meant to be just wish I had listened to myself when I was your age. What a wonderful easy watch your channel is, pssss don’t tell anyone but your my favourite. ❤❤

It's my one true regret of my life that I didn't tap into my Loved ones when I had all the time that I did. You're so fortunate that you have her still. Truly cherish each moment ask ALL the questions about the "Old Country". That's what my great and grandparents called Ireland and Sweden once they made it here. Thank you so much for those moments when you talk about mental health and self-improvement. You could spoil the book by telling me a lot about it, but I'd STILL buy it and keep it on my reading list. You are a wise woman and the things you say are very helpful to me and others and I hope you continue to share those little moments with us. Thinking positively does not come easily to a lot of us. It's something we have to teach ourselves to do--IF we're even aware of how negative we've been--have to realize it before you can change it. Thanks!

I'm sure I won't be the only one who posts this so, Boston Ivy and Virginia creeper are safe for masonry as they cling to the surface. English Ivy and cooking Ivy are the ones that have roots along the vine that penetrate cracks and pull apart masonry. This also allows the water in to further damage everything in its path.

Framing without glass is sophisticated! But for one-of-a-kind or very special limited art prints, there are high end (albeit expensive) glass options that reflect very little and offer UV protection to help preserve the print (less fading). We chose glass like that for a massive art print for our home because we have a lot of windows. You can hardly tell there’s glass. It’s not for everyone though, and maybe UV isn’t a concern depending on where the print will go. Weighing the pros/cons can be subjective.

I can remind you why you probably stopped. Because 90% of the quality is shit and after a few washings the fabrics start to change (in a negative way). Also the mass production of such a company is just no longer contemporary and sustainable. Yes, one can stock up on their basics from H&M, like socks or vests - but the majority of the products are just wrinkly and poorly made. At least that's why I stopped 😅

Artworks framed without glass are more beautiful but be careful of the light that will damage the pigments of drawings and prints and yellow the paper. You could try a museum « glass » called optium that is anti-reflection and protects the artworks. It’s quite expensive but effective.

I'm not too excited for spring yet. I always find February so cold❄ So looking forward to spring, early in the year, usually makes me resentful of winter. I am enjoyng the longer days though! And am grateful for the few extra minutes we get each day 😊😊😊💕💫

Half way on the video, love it. Piece of advice for the pups, if you share your food with them then it makes them extremely anxious doggies when food is around not good for them in the long run. Love your videos!

Be proud of how far you have come, you dared to stop, evaluate and then say openly I want to change, I want something different for my life and you made it happen. Being scared made you stronger x

The ivy looks absolutely beautiful! Only thing I wanted to mention was that we used to have ivy in our garden within easy reach of our pup and it kept making him sick when he went too close. Not sure if your pooches would be the same xx

Your print art is beautiful! I am surprised that you didn't want non-glare glass to protect the prints. The glass is virtually invisible and well worth the investment. You will find that dust and humidity will damage them quickly.

I love the prints also. I worked in a gallery and frame shop and I would definitely agree about the non glare and the risk of not putting paper prints under glass. Canvas can go with out glass. You and Ali have such great taste.

Oh yes that’s a lovely idea to reuse you grandparents clothes. Or even make cushion covers from the leftover materials.

I’ve recently been looking on H&M but nothing caught my eye. You obviously have a good eye. Gonna be placing some orders but unfortunately some are out of stock, so I shall wait patiently for the email for the items to come back in. Be good if you did more of the high street ones, with your good taste we can get your style for cheaper 😊 Very excited for spring, my greenhouse arrives beginning of March (you inspired me to get one as I loved yours and the idea of entertaining in them) just having my veg box’s built whoop 🙌 x

If you have cream and green ivy it is called vareigated. Just means variation of colour as far as I know.
