I think you should either leave the bamboo all natural, or a very light blue wash so the color is very subtle! The cobalt is a bit harsh compared to the rest, since it looks very natural/neutral :)

You don’t have to do bright blue! I’m a sucker for a deep navy or teal or cerulean! That way, there can be accent pieces while still keeping cohesion with the rest of the house (i.e. won’t look completely out of place).

Someone said lighting to make it blue- I 100% agree. Another option though, is going with a dark blue accent wall from behind, and dark green bamboo. Having accent light from below too. Blue bamboo has a very moody feeling in my opinion- so darker wood and walls with accent lights.

Try painting the bamboo from green at the bottom to blue at the top with an ombre effect in matte light earth tones it will look beautiful on the white stones and will be like an accent in the room which symbolizes earth and sky in your house

You could do the most pale powder blue you can find, almost white and very ethereal. Decades ago I remember Volkswagen had a limited color called "vapor" for their beetles which I still remember today even though I don't like those cars. The color was that great. Or, you can make it bold and a centerpiece. Like a darker navy but not dark enough to look black with the lights turned low.

i think super sleek wood and white tones and then the bright blue or navy blue painted bamboo would be really cool

Regarding the Bamboo for the interior garden. Keep it a light brown. Decorated an odd number of bamboo sticks with a mixture ancient and modern sayings along the lines of travel, home, friendship, strangers. Take an even number of bamboo sticks and painting/picture story referring the an element of the creation of the city/town and another with hidden gems to visit.

Hope you only use tiles in low traffic areas. The grout is a huge hassle to keep clean, and the more texture, the more dirt the tiles will catch! Bamboo color suggestion: Pantone 5523 or 5595 ish? The blue in the last frame is beautiful tooo tho ❤ Walls (especially bedroom): hemp charcoal shikkui (brand: cosmic hemp), doesn’t have to be grey. Might get you more repeats due to its super air purifying, relaxing and healing effects🎉

💙💙💙💙🎋 You could always do a faded blue, navy blue something that keeps with your style the color starts at the bottom and you go up to a faded out blue to normal bamboo or maybe a blue light at the bottom of the bamboo that way it sets a vibe.

I have a similar kitchen range. Just wish Japan had actual ovens instead of small fish grills. Baking at home is definitely a struggle in Japan.

I love the bamboo but that colour blue is definitely popping out colour. Which is why you are probably not used to it. Maybe get you can get an ocean colour mix of green and blue if you want the blue element. Another I love the plain dryer bamboo look it will go great in your house especially with the japandi style you are going for. But if you want an earthy and cozy comfort feel of the home. The green bamboo will give the room more life with the nature added into the room.

I think natural bamboo but perhaps with a warm laquer coating on top. That way you bring out the natural wooden look without the lighter wooden colour blending into the white accents. If painted blue, I think that lighter seaside blue, but then the colour of your whole logo should probs change and it's amazing as it is. Not sure about green, kind of mulling it over in my head, but only thing I can think is that blue bamboo is actually green 🧐. So yeah. But whatever you choose Sundai will be amazing I am 100% sure xxx

Maybe you can do a blue tile wall with the natural bamboo in front of it. It’ll give it texture and interest instead of just blue paint. Perhaps add some uplighting as well.

I would keep the bamboo natural and have blue accents. Like your logo embroidered on hand towels, business cards or a book that recommends places to eat or things to do. I can also see blue accents for the cups, vases things like that…not an overly saturated blue but a very pale blue. Also, tell me why I thought about Green Bamboo for your next property! 👀 😂
