@@user-cs6jx3gc1kEh. Most prestigious institutions are made up of high achievers - if you put low achievers in the same environment they would not be successful (as observed in the average GPA and graduation rates of alumni admits). A school is a stepping stone, not a destination, and success is there for those willing to work for it.
@@thebot64838I genuinely think you must have misunderstood this basic human interaction. The primary benefit of posting your rejections for the world to see is to normalize them and help other feel better about their own rejections.
Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you.he died so that you could go to Heaven. He wants you to live for him and is the way to heaven. If you don't already, you should read the Bible ✝️❤️
Congrats on all your acceptance! You took the others like a champ and it’s nice to see a channel where someone isn’t screaming over the top for views lolol
@@miumoments ..........he's talking about the fact that they post it online for the world to see publicly, for views/clout/atttention. Use your brain now pls.
honestly, i can't express how pure this video is; i practically beamed the entire time. it's just so human, i can't describe it any other way. i wish you the best in your future, academically and socially
congrats! i got rejected from a good amount of my schools and waitlisted on most, and even my acceptance reactions weren’t as big as a lot of what i feel i was supposed to react like. honestly this- like opening it wherever you are when it comes out, reading it and reacting simply and taking it in feels so much more natural and all. gl! uni class of 2028 here we come
Saw this on my recommended and became intrigued, really like how you got straight to the point and didn’t give an over-reaction in order to get more views. I Love your quiet reactions instead of the usual high energy, loud voices and screaming from university acceptances I watch. Huge congratulations on the acceptances!!
Congrats on your acceptances. Really happy to see that you applied to a range of schools. I assume some were “safety schools” and others were a bigger reach. This is what everyone should do. I had a student tell me recently that they didn’t get accepted to any of the 12 places they applied. I felt bad for them until they listed the school, and it was basically the most competitive 12 schools in the country. If they would have followed your lead, they’d be in school right now at a totally respectable institution.
For anyone worried about college acceptance, remember that getting in as a freshman is the hardest it gets. If you ever want to transfer it's a hell of a lot easier for minimum requirements of GPA, and transferring once, twice, or sometimes even three times is pretty normal.
i'm a senior in hs, and i'm starting my own college apps. this video eases that fear of rejection so much - it makes me feel like just rejection and celebration are part of the academic journey, yk? not the end of the world? thank you sm:)
Saw this on my explore page and was intrigued 😂 I like how you got straight to the point. Congrats on the acceptance!! 🎉🥳As a grad student myself, I hope you have an awesome college experience!! You've got great things ahead of you :)
congrats! it is important to note that wherever you go, utilize all resources possible. graduated from csuf last spring and currently go to oxford, so the sky is really the limit. push yourself and stay true to your goals
Damn, I came for the reaction video and fell for her smile. Jk...😂Though, congrats on those acceptances! You have optimism written all over your face...keep it up!
Yeah this is how uni applications should be. If you get in, good on ya! If you don’t, that’s okay too. At the end of the day the value you get from your education will still depend on you. My friends and I all scattered across Canada for university. It was essentially all for the name/status of some specific programs, and the opportunities these schools could provide for the program instead of the actual education itself. We compared the curriculums across board and they were all very similar in their respective fields.
Just graduated but welcome to UCI!! As a bit of advice, all I'll say is that you will have to make an effort to make friends if you aren't particularly extroverted. Join clubs (the earlier the better) and make an effort to go to group events. Despite the fact that it's known to be a commuter school, it's definitely more than possible to make friends if you put yourself out there (didn't truly listen to that sort of advice until my very last year and I highly regret it). Anyway, congrats again!!
This is so cool! Last year (I'm a college freshman) was VERY stressful but I liked getting admittance letters back because it's exciting. I thought it was total bullshit but from the other side, I wholly believe that you will end up where you need to be. Congratulations on eventually graduating from high school and I hope you have a great time in college!!
Man, can't believe it's that time of year again! I was just going through this process last year. I'm happy that you got into some schools INCLUDING UCI! I almost committed there and had plans to do so until another UC promptly challenged it. But there's really no reason to feel upset over a rejection. After two quarters and 4 weeks at my current university, I realized that straight out of high school, dream schools can be quite a challenge. It's easier adapting to a school that's less prestigious and if you really want to, transfer in! Also love how genuine and quiet your reactions are. I was the same way with mine. Sometimes I wonder if some of the students that begin screaming like crazy after getting accepted to a school is just for the theatrics.
this made me feel like a human, and not a loser, not to antagonize the achievers, but damnn, felt being underwater watching those other videos, where they are accepted into everything.
Best reaction video ever. No drama and the color-coded stoplight graphics were clever. They should be standard, along with giving one's decision at the end. If you're planning to go into film/film editing, USC should've taken you! Anyway, pretty sure UCI has an In-N-Out Burger on campus, so...wise decision!
Congrats on getting into Cal Poly SLO! idk what major youre looking for, but im in ME right now and absolutely loving it. Professors focused on teaching -- not research -- and SLO is a paradise.
UCI is underrated. I went there for undergrad and had a great time. It was between that and USC and I'm so glad I chose UCI, both for financial reasons and just vibes. Congrats and good luck. I'd strongly recommend getting into undergrad research opportunities - regardless of whether you just want a job later or are considering graduate school!
congrats on going through the college application process! loved how straight to the point you were and you're pretty too! best of luck at uci! - a ucsb student
I go to UCI too (: It's a great school I love it and I'm grateful to go here. It was actually my top choice and only choice I applied to as a transfer. I plan to also do my masters at UCI since it's near home. Congratulations!! You'll have an amazing time here.
i did the same after taking the sat, but i still got into a top 10 public school! idk if schools will remain test optional next year, but if they do just apply test optional and you’ll be fine
my weighted gpa was a 4.3, i went test optional for all the private schools minus chapman, my extracurriculars weren’t very strong, but i think my essays were good
