👍A MUST DO day advenchur! Tramping up to Mueller hut in the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park! 5-7 hours up and down!
👍Know before you go tips for completing the 5.2km (one way) alpine tramp in a day:
🏔️Check the weather and rug up appropriately (including footwear)! This footage was taken in peak summer and we still had gloves on! Taking an extra layer would be a good idea!
🏔️Slather on the suncream! Even on a cloudy day!
🏔️Take some kai! The track begins with 2200 stairs up! And that’s just the beginning, so you definitely build up an appetite!
🏔️Water! Gotta stay hydrated, it’s a hard but rewarding climb! Hydrate before you dehydrate 🍻
👍You can also book to stay in Mueller Hut if you want to give those jelly legs a rest for a night! But you have to be quick this awesome red hut books up fast!
