While I do own a Mossberg 590 in real life the reason I used it for so long is because it came with my starting gear and came back on insurance an unreasonable amount of times.
to me the pumps shine with the high pellet or magnum buck. Too un-reliable to land multiple slug hits in a pvp/boss-guard scenario almost not even a chance with slugs. Still dont care much for magazine fed options. Though the M3 is nice just cant use a can with a large mag. IMO the benelli M3 is the best one in the game with the duel selection as an option and idk i like it more than the 153 though the 8 shot/can aspect holds its own ECHELON with ftx slugs and 200m potential at times for pvp kills. Or even boss/guard scenarios. I mean DW M3's in factory when your hoodrich...isnt a bad time at all. Mixed tubes or just ap/bmg or pre nurf piranha/rip/flechette. But ftx you could do so much/content tasks with reliably for cqb or long range which makes it pretty hard to run pumps for dailys or daily pvp/pmc kill/factory rotations if ppl are geared vs ideally undergeared XD.
Fun fact for the mp-18 while questing it counts as a bolt action. Found that out after accidentally completing the headshot kills for Tarkov shooter 2 .
I swear when it was first put into the game it was bugged and would count as a shotgun. I think it should be considered a bolt action, they are real world survivalist rifles
@@BlightfulProductions i see it more like a breach loaded rifle but I guess it makes sense for it being classed as a shotgun, they probably make all sorts of shot for the cartridge and slugs exist.
You should re-include the MP-18 for the bolt actions because it actually does count when used in Tarkov Shooter questlines! Stereotype being the ultimate frugal purchase due to keeping all spare ammo in your secure container, and being able to load it by dragging it in through the inventory screen
The Mossberg is easily my most beloved gun in Tarkov, not because I own one IRL (Though maybe I should at this point), but because whenever I use it, things just tend to work out in my favor. Mossy gang
I missed the Saiga from before overheat was added. Shredding altyn/fort armor dude on Factory by dumping 20 rounds of magnum buck into their knees in half a second was the most enjoyable part of this game for a long time.
@@NicholasLaRosa0496 I think express buckshot just tends to be more accurate so more pellets get where you aim actually (causing more damage per shot then 8.5 magnum with wider spread).
I’ve used nothing but the Saiga-12 for around 2 wipes now. It’s pretty good even around 50 meters out with 6.5. Very versatile weapon. Plus it boomerangs a lot.
Can't wait to See the Mosin man or VPO for the next video. Rumor has it that the the Rats of Tarkov have been giving offerings to the mosin as if one of the 3 Deities.
Soundsmith's video is a gold mine of fun and laughter. I'm glad tarkov is getting a version of their own. Given the amount of weapons, there is a deep well of memes to be had.
sv-98 - You like to pretend it's the AWP from CS:GO M700 - You don't like how bulky the other sniper rifles are so you take this one, just to mod it out to be as if not more bulky to upscale that god awful ergo. DVL-10 - You like the fact it sounds like a wet silent fart anytime you fire, you also really like the color green. Orsis T5000 - You like to pretend you're not like the other snipers, you're different, instead of buying the m700 with mods you buy this...for less ergo and more expensive parts...it has a smooth bolt though. ACMX - You know the MK18 will do the job better even at bolt action ranges due to the caliber, you don't care. At this point the excuse of extra MOA or muzzle velocity does not apply and you just REALLY love the satisfying feeling of using a bolt action.
Honestly, I did expect this video to slightly look alike weapon stereotype series but GOOD GOD YOU NAILED EVERYTHING. No edgy music references unfortunately. Also, stereotype for SV-98: Some people are still bitching about trigger delay (which I never noticed back when people were raging about it).
Loved the sound smith series and also loved this video cant wait to see more of these stereotype videos especially an armour one that sounds fun love the content keep it up
Its not quite the same but its similar. I pretty sure he composed his own background music so I wasn't comfortable with using it without his express permission.
Suppressed DVL users: probably sitting in a bush with the ghillie face cover and a flir, shooting confused people. Loud DVL users: absolute madlads who take off the stock and use it as a .308 longbarrel pistol in factory
For Bolt Actions: - Mosin: You are doing the "Mosin Man", wearing nothing but a Mosin and having 7.62x54R in your Secure Container. You either exit the raid with a 500k rouble loadout, or dead. - VPO-215: Two stereotypes. One use the AP-M ammo and will ABSOLUETELY tap your thorax like there is no tomorrow, no matter where you are. The other don't use the AP-M ammo and use it, because it's one of the earliest accessible scoped "sniper" rifles and they think sniping is easy. Yes, they will get some cheeky kills here and there, but mostly you will catch them and send them back to the menu. - DVL-10: Only ever runs it suppressed. Can most often be found on Woods, but also other maps, with very long sightlines. They lie in spots you have never even seen, wait for half an hour, get that one kill and don't even end up grabbing the loot. These people are really in it just for the thrill. - T-5000M: These people will go ON AND ON about how "staying scoped while operating the bolt is a tactical advantage", but that never actually gets them any kills. These people just lov the fact that they use expensive gear and it makes them think that makes them skilled. - SV-98: You want to use 7.62x54R, but think that the Mosin is a bit too 90s for you. 1890s, that is. SV-98 savants will talk all about how their round of choice deals more damage and how on paper it's more accurate than the M700. But in truth, they just like it because they're so used to it, that they can't switch to any other bolt-action rifle anymore. - M700: For most snipers, this is *the* rifle. Costs less than the SV-98, has very common yet powerfull ammo, and can be modded to hell and back if desired. You can't even really find a stereotype for the people who use it, because it's just so damn common. I guess "everyone and their mom uses the M700" *is* the stereotype. - AXMC: These people love how incredibly powerful the .338 is. Whenever they find AP ammo, their brain releases more dopamine than anything else. They do not care that their ammo costs more to shoot than the guy they shot it with was carrying. For them, the .338 is the end game.
soundsmith is the reason why i wore specific cosmetics in tf2 back then, thanks for the nostalgia hit. stereotype idea for bolt actions: people using the VPO with ap-m with iron sights are only in factory and doing that one jager quest lol
As an average 590 enjoyer and memer, can confirm. I also enjoy using the Benelli M3 on pump action, because on one hand it makes someone, somewhere unreasonably upset. And two, because it is my hope someone takes it from my body expecting it to be on semi-auto, only to still be trolled by it when they need it.
Mosin infantry- this guy could be literally anybody. Timmy? Sure. Chad? Maybe. Mosin sniper- this guy has class, or is completely insane. No inbetween. T-5000- you wanted a DVL, didn’t you? M700- some people swear by this gun, me? I just don’t see the hype. VPO-215- this guy is either extremely poor or will completely wreck your shit in. Sv-98 - you like PS, huh. solid gun honestly. DVL- the best and coolest bolt action. it does suffer from TX-15 syndrome but that suppressor is awesome
155 with thermal and TAC-30 can be used as marksman shotgun on Forest. Where its used as recon device, and its pretty good in that role. Revolver shotty have incredible MOA at stock and, when loaded with magnum or ap-20, can be easy to go weapon. And u forgot shortbarreled doublebarrel loaded with 2 ap-shells. One of funiest way to go zero2hero
Bolt actions: Mosin, all hail Mosin Man who lives for headshots with a cheap gun. Just as deadly in the hands of scavs. A special mention to those who use the sawed off version. VPO-215 - the inaccurate bolty with the AP bullet. Great for Factory runs to complete Tarkov Shooter Part 3. Model 700 - For those who want to snipe on the cheap but don't want to use a Mosin. Best when modded into a lightweight sniper. SV-98 - uses the same ammo as the Mosin but looks cooler. Don't forget to add the anti-heat ribbon and the tripod. T-5000 - shoots like the Model 700 but looks cooler DVL-10 - the quiet killer AXMC - the sniper for hunting chads with thorax shots - we don't care what armor class you are wearing, you're going down
MT-255 is the best LL1 weapon that's why you don't see any toz anymore. Its only weakness is all the streamer-watching smoothbrains buying up all the goddamn magnum buckshot.
For boltys, on one hand those who run labs with dvl, on the other hand, those who play the axmc with thermal etc and miss all their shots even when the enemy is standing still (aka me) or the ones who one tap anything that moves oneshot
Before I even start the main course, I have to mention that the intro needs to have the character *die* at the end... record just a long walk then getting sniped I guess? maybe bleed out... idk
Not quite soundsmith's track though it does sound similar. I wasn't too comfortable using his music without express permission but if I get it, then i might.
The naked mosin, one of the scariest bolt action users out there, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain, the kind of people who dont care what helmet you are using because they will pen it xD
In my experience, mosin guys are either, desperate and looking to 1 tap scavs, trying to do shooter born in a really stupid way, or psychos out for blood.
Heya leviticus, great video as always, but I disagree about the m590. It has the single best iron sights in the game, acceptable shotgun accuracy and an 8 round tube. As far as shotguns go, an unmodded m590 is the best bang for your buck that you gain access to with jaeger lvl 1. Also, about the mp-155: It is the only gun in the game you can get a thermal on and then hide in a bush with nothing but your barrel sticking out and having 100% unobstructed vision. It is THE ultimate rat weapon. You can, for example, lay prone on the grassy mounds near customs fort and be completely hidden, only your barrel sticking out.
