Ah man, the end bit about not putting the 'mono maker' on the 2 Bus makes so much sense. This video answered many small questions I'd had in the back of my mind. Thank you!
I can't hear you from all the way down here!! _ /_ / ! ! o ! /_ _ ( O ) /_ / _ ! o ! / _ / ( O ( O ) O ) / This is part of my massive wall of speakers in a clearing in a forest. There are 20 drivers, but they're all mono...
Putting the bass in mono takes away the punch, I usually run bass in two channels and adjust accordingly. However running them straight up the middle on both channels has more punch.
Should I make my low end mono? Practical answer... it depends. Which this video explores thoroughly. Aesthetically that is a whole other ball game and again it depends! Thanks again Matt for excellent content.
Can you please do a video for getting that tight clean bass guitar. Where none of the notes are "loose." This way folks know the real difference between tight bass vs. punchy bass. That would be great.
lol so i'm setting up my beat template in FL and just had that thought so this is timely. my fear is the fact that i never know where a song mite end up or what its gunna be used for so i guess by keeping it mono it'd be playing it safe. i saw a tutorial you did with a stereo bass plugin so that was my best bet so i was planning to keep it in mono and use that plugin to widen the bass
Listened to this test on near fields on my work desk (not for music), so it's asymmetric. One speaker is near a wall the other isn't. I heard the right side pan, but the left side basically disappeared lol.
@@WeissAdvice It's just a phase :D Rest assured my actual music space is at least symmetric. I just put monitors on my work from home desk for a better listening experience.
