I second of pressing 4 days a week, I do it myself and not all of those days have to be heavy. I do 2 days for volume, day 3 a lighter session focusing on form, 4th day working up to a heavy top set. works great.
Pressing 4x a week + the other lifts sounds gruesome and becomes much more challenging once that 24 yo kid gets a full time job, gets married, buys a house and eventually has kids, how can anyone perform well and recover from training stress and life stress? Also for some people there’s a whole lot to life other than the gym
