Definitely no on the trade. That newer body style is known to have a lot of issues and Chomper is bullet proof. Just do a 6" lift and some 4.56 gears in the diffs on Chomper.
I actually have a Go Light on top of my truck just like the one on your buddies truck. They are great to have. They spin around 360 degrees and can tilt up and down.
I went from my 06 5.3 dyno tuned Sierra with 3.73 to my 2018 6.2 Stock tuned Sierra 4wd. The 6.2 is an awesome motor. The truck has been awesome with zero problems. It all depends on what you like. I don't care for how easily the paint chips on the 2018, plus the sheet metal is so dam thin it bends real easily.
honestly dude i’d say do whatever you want. i’ve learned it’s more important to like what you like. but ik your a vlogger and there’s nothing wrong with that. love the content man
If you do get another one, would be cool to see you delete the dod/afm system. Texas Speed makes a kit with everything, im looking at getting it done soon.
Hey Chase, If you happen to see this i would like to get your opinion on this truck i'm looking at. It's a 1986 Ford F-150 with the 5.0 with 42k original miles and it's sat for about 7 years. It's actually in pretty decent shape and the interior is pristine. It starts and runs fine i was told, but once you put it in gear (it's an automatic) it stalls. Would you happen to know what that could be? Thanks, Love the videos!
Could be any one or several of: vacuum hoses, egr valve, egr solenoid, neutral safety switch, blown torque converter. Or just as simple as bad gas from sitting. Would definitely have a mechanic look at it before you bought it.
