they're speaking about teams that are well poised for free agents. The Lakers have been publicly stating that their goals are to attract multiple marquee free agents this summer. They have a ton of cap space and what appears to be a bright future.

Robert Berguer Why would any superstar sign with a team that's still developing? The team has a bright tomorrow that's for sure. But that sun might never rise especially if you stifle the development of your core by having them play second fiddle to some guys that might not even be there in a few years. You put a superstar on the Lakers next year they still might not make the playoffs. They certainly wouldn't be title contenders. And if you're a superstar level player you're wasting your time if you don't sign with a team that could compete for a title.

As an LA fan, I do not want Westbrook playing for my team. Having a guaranteed playoff spot is nice, but his need to take every shot holds his teams back from doing anything meaningful. Plus, Zo is getting a lot better and IT as a sixth man has been winning games. Please keep Russ in OKC so the Thunder can continue being the Raptors of the west: the team that no matter how good it's doing, no one considers it a threat.

Honestly I'd love to play for a team like the Thunder. Basketball Never Stops not in this case Max is pointing out if Westbrook waited and see what to do after this season he could go to the Lakers and have more options. It could be with PG13 or anyone to be exact him and LeBron could have team up and go to any team. What happens if PG13 does leave the Thunder it's not a free agent destination. I think Sam Presti is one of the best GM in the league but he knows himself only through the draft or trades they will only get great talent on there roster.

Max was absolutely on point at 0:46. In that series vs the Rockets last year, OKC was up going into the 3rd in a few of those games and the TEAM was playing well. Then 4th quarter rolled around and Russ would shoot his team out of the game and they'd lose. And then people made the excuse that Harden had the better team. Look at what Oladipo is doing now. Russ holds his teammates back.

Why do they think everyone wants to play in L.A.? They are far from being competitive in the western conference. I doubt most players could care less who played there decades ago, just because they have produce some legends doesn't mean you will be one. Just because they've won championships doesn't mean they are in position to win another right now. L.A. is overrated

I think SAS is undervaluing Westbrooks impact on a team, if he could win with the non existent spacing he had last year and the only bright spot being Steven Adams, I am sure he could if he was kicking to whoever the Lakers had in the last couple years.
