Hey Marine. You nailed it on the leadership comment. You had it in 2011 and 2012 and almost EASd. Well, back in 1990, after 5 years (and I extended a year) goddammit, was so fed up I left. Didn't look back. I became an Airborne infantryman in the Army.
Not to get political but there's plenty of political reasons to/not reenlist if you think about it. Even if you love the Marine Corps, what would be the point of serving in an organization that's controlled by a commander in chief that you hate? Or vice versa of course. Some Marines got out simply because of how we pulled out of the middle east and didn't want to be part of the organization anymore. Or because of the mandatory covid vaccine. Politics definitely does have or frankly should pose a bearing on reenlisting or not and I think there's too many service members who don't even think about that.
I tried to join the Marines when I was under 28 couldn't pass unfortunately now it s too late for me now I am about to hit 30 years old plus my learning disabilities always had me being bad at school so when I tried for the army after trying to join the Marines failed I couldn't pass the ASVAB practice for the army
Good evening sir, I greet you in the name of the Almighty God. Am from Africa Sierra Leone, I really love to join the US army, that is my dream, but how can you help me please 🙏
Heck ya gunny keep up the good work I've been out of the marine corps for 5 months almost 6 and I will be honest civilian life isn't the same as being in the marine corps and now I'm working to get back in talking to a recruiter and all any advice you can give me
Leaving without a plan is better than staying in and suffering. I'd rather live in the wood under a tree than reenlist. Did my time and will never do that shit again 😂
Sound advice ! Although I would luv to join and serve the Army as my father did it's to late for me. I'm in my mid thirties with a whole bunch of problems on my plate. But physically and mentally I'm strong.
Hello My name is Christian, I am a high school dropout but not exactly by choice, my situation surrounding school was very complicated to say the least, unfortunately since the time I dropped out around 6 years ago now my situation at home and abroad has had me pushing myself to make ends meet, whilst also struggling to maintain some level of pride and fulfillment, not only in my work but my social life alike. Which has had me strapped for time and constantly underwhelmed purposefully speaking, due to these complications I've yet to obtain my G.E.D. either, but I have always aspired to join the armed forces specifically the Marine corps. Therefore I am curious, (Would I be capable of enlisting even without an official form of high school education?), or (Would there possibly be a program I could opt. into to earn my education during my time in service?). I am serious about this career and have been training physically on top of doing research for a few weeks now, as of the other night I've begun studying and practice testing for the A.S.V.A.B. over the internet, My simulated test scores (so far) don't seem too bad considering my educational history, and I believe with a few more weeks of diligent and committed studying I'll definitely be capable of passing it with a respectable score, anyway I'd love to have your insight and advice surrounding my situation and I hope we can peak about it soon. For now though, I myself am going to set an alarm and get a couple hours of shut eye, (I've been up late studying). Thank you for your service and I wish you a wonderful Sunday morning.
I enjoy the information you give in all your video. & I know you don't do request but can you do a video on social media usage for marine & family do & Don't so I Don't make a butt face & get in deep poop like posting picture in uniform etc
Holly Cow... how does any buddy join the service especily the army or marines and NOT know what their getting into in this day and age. Their only a million books, a hundred movies ect ect
Reading about something is a lot different than living it. Also, all these books on grammar out here and you still can’t even differentiate between “there”, “they’re”, and “their”. Not to mention the other grammatical errors you made. Hm, smells like ✨hypocrisy✨
