I'm planning to get MSc in Marketing which focuses on consumer behavior and neuromarketing.. main focus is on psychology and neuroscience behind decision making which sounds so cool to me.

Hey Katy, it was a very informative video. I also plan to pursue MSc in Digital Marketing from the UK/Scotland. However, I have 1.5 years of experience working in this field. Therefore, I am somewhat skeptical about whether to go for an MSc or MBA. My interest - Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics My Budget - Less than 20k GBP. Appreciate it if you could provide a list of decent universities that would be worth getting into that will help in getting a decent job post studies.

MSc is recommended because first of all it's way cheaper than MBA and also you want to focus on strategy and analytics. MBA more focuses on leadership and management.

did you take the masters right after undergrad or after some experiences in the field ?

I started the masters 6 months after my undergrad - I’ve worked as a freelancer and at a design agency, so not as a digital marketer but alongside one ☺️

Thank you! I mean I have found great value in it so far, the classes have taught me a lot I wouldn’t have thought about on my own when planning a digital campaign - but there is a lot of material on digital marketing available for free online… so it’s what you make of it really! If you think you’d find the experience worth while then go for it 😁
