At first I didn't even notice he was healing until I glanced up at the boss health after damaging him, damaged him some more, looked up again, and somehow it was higher than before, then later again I noticed it going up and was like: "OH MY GOD, THIS CHEEKY LAD IS HEALING?!"
@@skylersilva6582 Each time a small Troupple kisses him he heals, it's either half of one of the life bubbles or a full one. Been a while since I played King of Cards so I can't remember.
I bought the original shovel knight when it came out on 3DS. It only cost me 14.99 with each dlc being essentially free. Absolutely incredible deal; best 14.99 I ever spent on a game. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for yacht club games!
Very cool boss fight, if not slightly irritating at first because of the boat. Like, seriously, who'd have guessed that the Troupple King that gives you Ichors to help you out would become a full-fledged boss in one of the campaigns?
@@alolomololomolomomololola8854 it is a gimmick that just prolongs fights because it limits the times you can attack even more than normal in these types of games.
@@randomperson-up5vt While I agree on the fact that it might prolong the fight, sometimes to its detriment I don't think that they're necessarily always bad, specially with big bosses In this case for example the only times the boss goes off screen is always to prepare an attack in wich will expose itself to the player, so the sensation of the boss cheating by hiding in the background isn't really pleasant Also it makes the boss feel more epic and threatening, a big boss would feel really cramped in that little area if it had no room to move into, while in this way it can dart freely from left to right and generally behave like a fish by going underwater
I know this is 7 months old but you need to: 1: go to the top right of the ship 2: jump off 3: shoulder bash the wall as you're falling 4: land on trouple kings head
Go up to the platform above him, where the hedgehogs are, jump off the edge, ram into the wall so you start spinning, and land on his crown. It'll unclog it and he'll sell you declarations.
