How to install and raise or lower your shower head with an adjustable swivel arm. Installation of a cheap shower extender pipe with no leaks.
I'm just sharing my experience, and if you decide to follow me, please do it at your own risk and discretion.

The more expensive shower extension arm is easier to install, but the cheaper version can work just as well.

This one has a free-spinning locking collar, so it should be easier to install amzn.to/3qpQ5GC Tighten it by hand first, then use pliers (lightly) to secure it better.

I'd just return the extender to the store and buy a better one. However, you might have bought it online because it's just more convenient. In that case, it might be easier to just make do with what you have.

Thanks! Might get one of these for my apartment. How are the wing nuts holding up? Do they feel like they hold the shower head firmly after some use??

My wing nuts are holding well. But I'm using this extension to lower the showerhead. So I can't comment on reliability if you are planning to raise your showerhead.
