It’s called shred wars but I think at this point it’s really just about showcasing the amazing talent of both players and having fun. So not one person wins, they both win and we win by getting to enjoy listening and observing. I love these! ❤️

Ah - back in the days we tried to impress girls with our guitar skills. Nowadays we get depressed by girls with their guitar skills. Nevertheless: I found both solos pretty creative, accurate and intense. So, for me: a draw.

Jared's outro riff was pretty smooth and original sounding. Nice job playing by both of you.

That riff at the end is so satisfyingly capped with that complex chord. 🤘

Every single shred wars I’ve seen puts my mind in a transfixed state of zen. The musicianship and pure passion is something I wish every person alive would take the time to enjoy. Music is subjective, but I feel like a majority of people rob themselves of a treasure trove of bliss. Or does that make me an elitist snob?

Sophie Burrell has just inspired my 10 year old daughter to play!!! Just got back from Guitar Center!!! She wanted a smaller scale that would fit her hands. Unfortunately the only smaller scale was a Squier mini strat and also found a smaller used harmony Jr acoustic . They are not exactly high quality but it is enough to get her started and she also seen a poster of a cord chart ..... so being super dad I bought it as well. But I honestly want to say thank you for posting this video!!! I am glad that my daughter happened to be watching it !!! I myself am a bass player but seeing your child wanting to take up the desire to learn how to play is more then all the gold in this world!!! Thank you once again!!!

ONE of the rare instances when jared plays just as good as the challenged, but when he does, he's at his absolute best. Mindblowing performance from both players in my opinion

1:10 dang that’s some of the smoothest pinch harmonics I’ve ever heard. Though I think this is also the best Jared has ever done in his own shred wars video! Some really excellent licks and riffs that are way more melodic than usual.
