@@luisapaza317 only if you want the fight to be intense and cool looking. Catching him in that loop is what makes him less aids to fight for some players.
I think it’s hilarious that the inner father memory says that, “this man was more than owl could ever be,” So Wolf sat down, thought about the battle and said, “you know what would’ve been cool...”
I always interpreted inner bosses as being the potential absolute peak of that given character had things turned out differently, but your explanation makes more sense lore-wise and is hilarious. I've been converted.
@@FlameEmper0r I didn't find inner Isshin easier than ISS, but he definitely wasn't much harder, has a few new moves but I mostly struggled with the change in his regular patterns, I would 100% get baited expeting one pattern and getting something completely different
@@FlameEmper0r Nah for me his sword phase is like 3x harder on Inner. In Sword Saint, I can no hit the sword phase like 80% of the time, but on Inner I find I burn 4-5 healing gourds if not die outright in his sword phase. Spear phases are more or less the same in both. Inner Father definitely adds the most though.
When I fought Demon of Hatred, I kept getting confused because parrying him was getting me killed. Thank you for showing me how the fight is done. That looked much more like a "Dark souls" fight. :)
I like demon of hatred. I learned him in an hour pretty much, and i only died to him on level 1 because i could only survive his Big stomps IF i blocked it. Otherwise I'm insta dead from every attack.
all I can say is that to beat the demon of hatred I died something like 73 times and I beaten inner father by a stroke of luck, I don't think I can ever do it again
Wow, nicely done. I managed to beat this Gauntlet last night, I should definitely use the umbrella more, I managed to get a very clutch win against Inner Owl, I've yet to master that fight.
@@MossyQualia I think it's the fact that he's probably the most aggressive boss in the game, and you have to match that aggression too, otherwise his Posture is back at zero. With Isshin you can take it slow and exploit the openings he presents to you, with Owl you have to make those openings happen.
Well done man, very good work. I do a similar strategy with the demon but I still find it difficult to avoid some of his attacks for some reason. Probably my least favorite boss in the game because everyone else is fun to deflect and dance with
I can't even kill Owl (Father) in Hirata, his 2nd phase is so ass I hate it man lol. But this guy jus destroys him without taking a single hit. makes me wanna master this game to do this. killing bosses in this game you've been stuck on for awhile is so satisfying
i don't even know how to get that fight honestly. as much as i've tried to find it on my own, i can't seem to find the bell charm to visit Hirata and earn the Owl fight there.
@@prabu0bala07 When a boss runs away, they may idle to regain posture. The ceramic instantly aggros them again so they'll enter an attack. The shuriken does the same thing but costs spirit emblems.
I feel like every sekiro video I watch they do they handle the isshin sweep attack differently I always dodge to the left each time but every blocks then jumps feels like I’ve been doing it the less efficient way the whole time
Huge congratulations bro I can only no damage them by taking them one on one and then edit into one video But you can no damage them conservatively which mean you’ve already put some huge amount of time into the game and you’re pretty damn good at it
Just came back to Sekiro on a new PS and replayed it just to beat this gauntlet.. the one gauntlet that evaded me before inner father would whup me whenever I was in gauntlet, but not in a reflection. Stayed bothering me went back and got it the other day pretty easily. Crazy how you internalise this game to that extent. I think I'll leave the mortal journey be and do a no charm run +3 but I'm finding every enemy to be like a mini boss ha but ain't that the fun?
Impressive video. My only question is why prioritize yashuriku’s sugar over divine confetti vs owl father. Confetti lasts longer and gives chip damage even when youre parried. It really adds up.
Even though it says " no damage* and you did take a little bit of damage I don't care, I have to say you did an AWESOME FUCKING JOB!!!! I am about to do this gauntlet and you really helped me out for a game plan on how to do it. I will be sure to watch your other videos as well, keep up the awesome work!!!! 👍👍👍
Hey, I got the severence ending 1st playthrough (also beat Demon of Hatred on that one) and then got Shura ending in ng+. How do I unlock the Gauntlet of Strength: Shura? Awesome skills btw, subbed.
This is situational. Both goomba stomp and high monk deal increased posture damage against enemies during their peril sweep attack, but the follow ups on high monk (both the roll away and the double swing) are not guaranteed to be safe against every enemy including owl since his lunge during the sweep makes it very hard to land the high monk perfectly.
Sure, i ever death by doing that to corrupted monk, and u know, sekiro is always make us more addicted to deflect boss attack, i really enjoy facing seven asina spear, until now i still playing it and its been two years since i played.
Can someone explain to me at 0:20 what skill is that, the sword block + pushing enemy away (not the monk skill)? And how come posture don't break when is maxed out (i am new to the game).
Damn, I can't even beat this gauntlet with full health, maybe because I've been playing with mouse and keyboard, i need to get myself a fine Xbox controller to even attempt this (i mastered they game years ago, but i returned to the game this week, I'm rusty af, but manage to beat most bosses 1st time, I'm sweating for demon of hatred, Ishin and the inner father, which i've never faced before, well, one time, but i got him by pure luck, never attempt him again)
Amazing people can do this but I've been stuck in the last boss for over 12 hours I'm probably in the 600-700 range as far as attempts go and I still die to Genichiro all the time
Why they had to throw Demon of Hatred in there... Even without it it would be pretty hard, but that demon just before inner owl is basically a sadism...
Sensai ...... teach me I had sekiro since launch and I still haven't beaten it once I'm at the last boss I know I know I'm ass at this game but I played it off and on plz I need some assistance
Owl Father in Hirata is cheese af if you spam Mortal Blade. Literally just dodge around (try to minimize Deflecting as Owl gets aggro the more you deflect) and every once after a few attacks Owl will slow down after a move. Thats when you use Mortal Blade. Keep on using it even after Emblems run out and he'll be dead!
it does not break if u deflect(parry) and not block even if the posture bar is full and once u get a block or get hit, the posture will break immediately in same circumstances
