I noticed a hiss with the 58 at the end of the video at 3:20 but seemed to be no hiss with the lav mic, was the audio cleaned up in post for the main part of the video from 0:00-3:20?
I'm kinda new to this, but I'm seriously interested in the QLXD14/SM35 kit, my question is, can i buy a secondary body transmitter (QLXD1) and use it with the same receiver? Basically using 2 microphones (two of QLXD1+SM35) with one receiver the QLXD4 I had an old sure setup, same concept but it supported two body transmitters on 1 receiver
Two body-pack transmitters cannot be used with one receiver simultaneously. A one-to-one relationship between transmitter and receiver must be maintained. >Mark
Hello, I just purchased four QLXD. Can you please let me know if the UA844SWB or the UA844SWB/LC compatible to the QLXD? I don't know which one to order. What are their difference?
+Johnny Kwok Both the B&H # SHUA844SWB and the B;H # SHUA844SWB/LC are compatible with Shure QLXD systems. The B&H # SHUA844SWBLC does NOT include any antenna cables. -Mark
Shure UHF-R systems are now discontinued and no longer available for sale. They were primarily designed for touring, stage performances, fixed installation in large clubs, theaters, houses-of-worship, large scale presentations and more. The Shure QLXD systems are more compact and provide performers, presenters, and broadcasters with professional-quality audio, reliable RF performance, and secure AES 256-bit encryption. Rugged and easy-to-use, it is ideal for sound-reinforcement applications in medium-sized venues and houses of worship as well as A/V installations in conference, educational, and corporate facilities. >Mark
if i buy a qlxd2 (beta58 capsule) with qlxd4 receiver; and then want to buy a cheaper mic as a backup (or secondary mic) - can you tell me which one will be the best choice? The blx, or the glx-d, or the slx? I would like my secondary mic to be "compatible" with the qlx-d system.. Maybe so that it can also work side-by-side with the qlxd system, maybe use the same directional antennas (if i need them at a specific gig)? Basically I'm looking for the best "side-kick" to the qlxd that's cheaper (as it will be my secondary or backup mic to my qlxd system)..
Both manufacturers offer excellent systems that should be suitable for your particular application. Please drop us an e-mail with your specific needs: askbh@bandh.com >Mark
Yes Lenny. The QLXD bodypack transmitter will accept the TA4F connector for Shure bodypack transmitters that is included with a Shure WH20 Headset Mic with TA4F Connector for Shure Bodypack Transmitters BH #SHWH20TQG: bhpho.to/35IIGLi >Mark
