Chinese Marinade Turkey Gizzard Recipe
Step 1
Soak frozen turkey gizzards in salt water.
Step 2
Homemade 1) garlic, marinade spice pack, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, brown sugar, crystal sugar, broth, muslin bag. OR 2) Daiwo marinade sauce, Mei Kuei Lu wine.
Step 3
When water boils, add scallions, ginger with skin, garlic, cooking wine, and blanch turkey gizzards. Take out gizzards, rinse with cold water and clean.
Step 4
Soak gizzards in ice cold water for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Bring 2 bottles marinade sauce and same ratio water to boil, add 1 teaspoon Mei Kuei Lu wine, add turkey gizzards, and turn heat to medium-low heat and cook for 30 minutes, turn heat off, cover for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Bring to boil again after 30 minutes, heat off and cover for 30 minutes, repeat this for 2-3 times until gizzards are tender.
Step 7
Place gizzards in room temp, and then chill in refrigerator. Slice them, sprinkle sesame oil over and serve.
