It's so good to see the improvements done by AF Archery , they compete with thier own Bow and improve them.. finishing and performance is really value for money 👍🏹
Goodness that's one of the pretties bow's I've ever seen. Wanted my next bow whenever that time comes, to be an Assyrian bow...but this bow might move to the top of the list. Because that is just beautiful. From the colors to the curves...good job AF Archery. Must have felt great to fire this bow. Been a long time since I've seen a bow that screams must have. Great review as always.
Wow Bearpaw glass, bamboo, carbon and Golden Sandalwood!! That's a really cool combo of woods and beautiful at that! I have 3 AF bows and I love them. My next bow will be the Carbon Babylon from AF. They really have come far in terms of affordable good quality shooting bows.
Very pretty bow! AF has been building nice bows recently. I still have the original Sai Cai that you reviewed awhile back, after I got rid of the spaghetti they had for a string it became one of my favorite shooters. 50#@28' and after breaking in a bit 34" draw was quite comfortable. But it looks like they changed the reflex deflex shape out of the handle. So far as I can see they make good shooters mines had 20 to 30 thousand arrows out of it and still going strong! Great review as always my friend!
What a beautiful bow! Golden Sandalwood is an excellent choice 🥰 The SiCai is a very nice model and the shapes are beautiful… seems you can’t go wrong on the actual SiCai ☺️👍 Thank you so much for the nice review, dear Armin! ☺️🙏 Best wishes! 🏹🔆
Thank you for all your reviews Armin... Ive actually have purchased 3 bows just from your reviews and now after this review looks like it"ll be 4.... Thank you again my friend and nice shooting.👍👌
I think I have just seen my next bow. I like to shoot light and heavy arrows to challenge myself as an Archer. Thankyou for another comprehensive review as always. Peace & Good health to you 🙏
Bone inlays for the arrow passes, horn reinforcements on the tips. Those bone inlays seem perfect for the job. I just clean them off and they are like new again...
I watched this video 4 times lol, such fantastic review. Amazing looking bow, truly majestic. AF outdid themselves on this one. And yea this handle does look comfortable... i do like deep handles and this one looks like a perfect fit with all them curves 👌
The when it was just released the original carbon backed si cai bow in 46lbs was my second ever asiatic bow, it was a dream to shoot and crazy powerful. Sadly it exploded after a week of shooting from the carbon blowing out. Glad to see the leaps and bounds AF has progressed. Definitely wished I bought more models when there was a Lazada sale a few months back. Only bought the maple Tatar which is still an amazing bow and honestly already has everything I need. Sadly the store there got taken down and I'm certain the price will never be that low ever again.
I shoot split finger gap instinctively, I enjoy seeing Armin give his reviews. I've been thinking of owning one of thse swell bows, thumb draw is out of the question with my arthritic thumb. Anyway shoot straight, hit the gold
hands down beautiful bow. I would love to see the damage these bows could do. for hunting turkeys and deer. could you possibly do a ballistic jelly test on your reviews . maybe put pork ribs in the jelly.. and test different arrow head designs. all in all enjoy all your reviews.. love to see range test of how affective they are at longer ranges.
Should be just like a normal recurve bow, the only thing that could hurt performance is arrow flight since they are far off center shot. With well matched arrows it should be OK though.
Hay they have out done themselves, what a all around great looking bow very impressive. But I do think 34 is a bit to much for that bow. Thank you sir for another great review. God Bless my friend.
Both my Que Yue 2nd gen (green handle) and Oak Tatar can barely meet max draw... It really is the very max draw when AF says max draw. Stay away from the max or you might weaken the bow with an accidental overdraw... I woke up stronger one day and overdrew my Tatar bow by accident (so easy all of a sudden). It did get a little weaker after that (was 50lbs, marked 45, now closer to the 45 it was sold as). Seems to shoot fine, feels fine.. just a bit weaker...
Have you noticed how the asiatic recurves are quiet without any string silencers? A western style recurve bow sounds like a guitar without string silencers. Makes me feel like these bows are just a better design, smaller, lighter, and quieter, and just as fast!
Hello Armin, I have a 62lb. 60 in. Osage bow. What would be the best type of arrow to shoot? I have been useing bamboo shafts not sure the spine on them tho. Thanks.
