In Sicario: Day of the Soldado, the series begins a new chapter. In the drug war, there are no rules - and as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border, federal agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) calls on the mysterious Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro), whose family was murdered by a cartel kingpin, to escalate the war in nefarious ways. Alejandro kidnaps the kingpin’s daughter to inflame the conflict - but when the girl is seen as collateral damage, her fate will come between the two men as they question everything they are fighting for.

Sure it was just for the trailer. Takes away from the mood between Brolin and Del Toro's characters. Basically, Matt was told to "get rid" of Alejandro.

@@dsx5036 directors and actors do a lot of takes. Back in the 90s and 80s. Movie trailers were so different back then. They even showed the villain dying. But, we watched it anyway. This general is so spoiler. 😄

The cartels are a corporation and are run similarity and just as sophisticated.The business is run the same way Amazon and Boeing are in business. These small time players trying to make a name for themselves wouldn’t know as they just aren’t privy to the bottom line. Taking out a man like me is bad for business. Cartels are a corporation and the bottom line like any business is worth more than a child like me.
