Sid Eudy's Real Height will FLOOR You! 

Met Sid at an airport back in 1991 when he was going by Psycho Sid. I was 13 & my dad noticed him & said, damn, look at the size of that guy, must be a football player. I knew exactly who he was, told my dad who urged me to get his autograph. He was really cool & signed my little piece of paper my mom pulled out of her purse for me. Even told my parents they raised a nice kid. Wish I still had that autograph.

Sid would've made the perfect live-action Victor "Sabretooth" Creed.

I think he was one of the most intimidating looking wrestlers ever, absolute beast.

I could see him at 6'6". That still makes him a giant guy, especially with his build. I think people forget how big 6 and a half feet tall is until your standing next to someone that tall. It's pretty impressive.

Kevin Nash was around 6'10 in his younger years. Sid is like 2 inches shorter. Prime Sid is 6'8+

I was 6'4 5/8 when I was 18yrs old in bare feet. I randomly met Sid in a hospital over 25yrs ago, he towered over me. I would have guessed 6'7"+.

I'm 6'3 and met Sid years ago at Golds gym in Gulfport, Ms in the early 90's and I had to look up at him. At that time he was a monster but was a very cool fella.

He is probably currently 6'6", but in his prime he had to be closer to 6'7".

He had 2" on Hogan at the 1992 Rumble.

I think his claim of 6'6" was when he got older and lost some of his height. He was obviously taller in his prime, because hulk hogan was taller in his prime and people estimate him to be atleast 6'5 and a half and he always looks to be atleast 1 and a half inch taller than Hogan so he has to be atleast 6'7" in his prime.

When they took my measurements to play football in the 8th grade I was 5'11 but my wingspan was already 6'5 so they thought I was going to be at least 6'5. All through high school, they listed me as 6'3 hoping I would grow into it but I only ended up being a little over 6'1. In my prime ( 30 to 35 years old) I was 6'2 250 to 270. Now in my 40s and with knee and back injuries over the years, I noticed my cousin who is also 6'2 looks taller than me. I'm sure I've lost an inch or two over the years.

I remember not long after Sid left the Skyscrappers in the WCW (then the WWW, if I remember correctly), he was frequently refered to being 6'-9'' by Arn Anderson. Being that he was measured with his wrestling boots on, which I would guess the soles were at least 1.5''. So that makes him around 6'-7.5''...about 35 years ago! After a while, with all the bumps, and the turnbuckle throws and the heavy lifting, his spine took a lot of abuse over the years and compressed. I've lost almost an inch myself over the last 35 years...and never wrestled!lolll Also, keep in mind that you have to be a certain height to climb over the third rope and make it look good. You have to be a certain height and be heavy too, to lower the third rope down to help you pass the first leg over it cause those ropes are so thight nowadays. My guess is that he was around 6'-7'' later in his carreer...he might be 6'-5'' today. That is still pretty big. A youngster I work with is 6'-7'' on the dot and weighs 305 lb. He looks huge, but doesn't have Sid's musclarity or vascularity. My 2 cents. Thank you for reading me.

I met Sid in 2018 and took a photo with a few friends. He was smaller than I thought he would be. May have lost some inches due to age. Maybe 6'4" now. Had a friend who was around that height or 6'5" with us and he seemed just a smidge taller than Sid. Regardless, He still rules the world! 🌎

I met Sid back in the 90s, I was playing music at a local bar, and him and two other giants stood head and shoulders above the entire crowd. I wasn't sure who he was at the time, but, when I had the chance, I went up and briefly spoke with him. He told me "Hey man, yeah... we are wrestlers, actually I wrestled against these two guys tonight (the guys he was hanging with) and was super friendly. I cannot express how massive he was, I am around 6ft2 and he seemed to me to be around 6ft8 or so.. he may have had boots on, but he was not just tall.. he was jacked and literally towered over everyone. He was very chill, and basically was having beers and talking to girls. I checked him out on TV later and could not believe that was the same calm guy I met.

Even us shorter guys lose height with age when I was 26 I was measured to join the forces I measured 178cm or 5 ft 10 ,,,,I am now only 175cm or 5ft 9 ,,, at age53 ,I honestly think Sid was taller than 6'6

Sid, like Test, was gifted with features that made him look taller than he already is. Very high eyeline, tall shoulders with huge traps and unreal long legs. I'd give him 6'6.5 - 6'6.75 peak. That hide list was mostly plausible except for a few. Eddie was at most 170cm unless he lost height and there was no way Big Show weighed at 264 kg (that's 580 lbs) which was way above his heaviest ever of 537 lbs in 2006.

I loved him as Sid Justice. Near the end of each promo he'd scream "'cause I'm Sid Justice...." then quietl down, give a solemn look into the camera, and close out with "and Sid Justice RULES THE WORLD!" I wrote that on a few bathroom walls when I was in college.

I love your videos Rob, i like the way you explain the celeb heights. I've visited your site before some years. So, as i didn't know back then in the wrestling that they would inflate the wrestler's height, i always thought Sid was like 6'8, he seems as similarly tall as the Undertaker and Kane and there could have been a 1 or half inch difference between those 3 wrestlers. Then comparing him to another of my favorite Kevin Nash who seem like 2 inches taller than Sid. You mentioned the peak height of Nash was 6'9.5. That means he was like 3 inches taller than prime Sid and I'm not sure about that but like you guessed, Sid might have been 6'6.5. Nonetheless, 6'6 is a great height and i like Sid Vicious. He was one of the best big men back in the days.

Sting once said in a promo that Sid was 6 foot 7 so I'm basing my info on that. People seem to forget that wrestling has always exaggerated the heights and weights of their wrestlers. Sid rules the world.

Im 6’5 my friend is about 5’8 (claims 5’10) but only arrives to my shoulder so it’s possible sid is only 6’6 but its also known an average male can be expected to lose 2 inches in their life especially wrestlers due to their injuries so its also possible he was once 6’8 or at least 6’7

That list you present is full of flaws. For example, Andre is listed as 225cm, which is 7'4. Most people know that Andre was never 7'4. He was probably 7'1 in his prime. But towards the end he had shrunk a few inches, probably down to 6'10.

When on this subject of wrestlers' heights, I immediately think about Andre the Giant. Billed at 7'4", there is a photo of him next to Wilt Chamberlain who was a legit 7'1", and Wilt was obviously taller than Andre. I always assume that there is some rounding up.

He was measured in his prime for the Memphis Showboats football as 6’6. Why people are saying ‘only’ 6’6 is beyond me. That’s a towering height and then he’s at least 290 lbs. of lean muscle; that’s intimidating sight to say the least. Pro wrestling is all about exaggeration.

Trust me I've been watching wrestling for 43 years the reason why Sid looked tall is because he wore boots there were 2 or 3 inches taller than he's normal height that's why he broke his leg when he landed on it from the top rope the boot couldn't support his weight do to the cushion if he had the right size boots that injury would never had happened he got a way with it for a long time and did well.

Everyone looks taller and broader on TV than in real life, even people of average height. That's why the saying goes that TV adds inches and pounds to you. I've met celebs in real life and were shocked at how much smaller they are than how I perceived them on the box. All wrestler's heights are over billed. Hogan was billed at 6' 8" back in the WWF heyday, but my estimate was that he was only 6 '4" tops. People need to realise that a legitimate 6' 0" is tall and so many people who are 5'10" claim to be 6' 0", so 6 '0" is perceived as smaller than it actually is. Even people at 5' 11" with no lifts are noticeably taller than most people, it's legitimately tall, but people generally think it's average height - it's not at all. Once a man is 6 ' 2" and over, he starts to look so tall compared to the average person that it's easy to exaggerate their height a bit when asked, because most people are too short themselves to really notice the difference. Once someone towers over you, it's all the same for most people, 6' 2" can easily seem 6' 4". 198 cm puts Sid just at 6' 6", but you lose up to 2cm by the end of each day, so he's more of a comfortable 6' 5".

Sid has great posture doing staredowns with even taller big men like Kevin Nash without looking vastly shorter. I do believe Sid was 6 ft 6.5 or even 6 ft 7 during his peak height in the 90s. Kevin Nash has always said he was 6 ft 10 in at his peak height so he was 3 to 3.5 inches taller than Sid.

Sid was 6ft 6" barefoot, but in wrestling boots he would be at 6ft 7", and against bigger guys like Taker and Nash he would wear lifts or extra padding to look 6ft 7.5". Makes sense, given that Taker was around 6ft 7" barefoot, thus around 6ft 7.75" - 6ft 8" in wrestling boots. Nash in wrestling boots looked 1.5" taller than Taker, so he had to be around 6ft 9.25" - 6ft 9.5" peak height in the ring.

i think 6'6,5 would be fair for him, i though his height trajectory would be like Howard Stern's 6'5 range or Rob's 5'8 range, half day can look 1/2 inch taller than the nearest round down height, and can look a full 3/8 inch above it on a relaxed day, and closer to 1/4 inch above it as normal low

Every bit of 6' 6" and probably more. You rarely see a guy that tall with that kind of proportionate athletic body.
