I have a 2018 ltx-le 50th anniversary. 6800 miles and has never blown a belt. I have 2 friends with the same sled and 1 with a 2017. They are constantly blowing belts. I'm guessing the grease weeps and causes the belt to slip. All so it doesn't rattle at an idle. Leave it be.
This has nothing to do with blowing belts. And will not weep grease onto belt. lol. Belts blow from poor alignment or warn clutch parts. 2017s had alignment issues worst then most.
