@@GGE Okay, so I tried it myself on this new browser, and it doesn't seem to be an option. After looking around on the interweb, it seems that this is functionality that is implemented rather inconsistently natively. Fortunately, there are browser add-ons that can fix that. Though to be fair, you taking a screenshot and then drawing over it to make a point seems a lot more useful than just pausing a GIF. I dig your solution to the GIF issue
Personally, her issue is a really underwhelming gadget. Proxy alarms fill half of the utility that comes from her mines AND they get a primary gadget.@@GGE
What’s the best siege channels to watch? I used to watch rogue 9,Gregor, and get flanked. Trying to get back into siege and the siege RU-vid space and all I really see is G that feels a lot different and then the other channels I used to watch are completely dead
@Jason-qh2nw His drones used to be invisible so they buffed his speed to balance the clear nerf out. What's funny is people are happy about echo returning to his previous state but he's still in a overall weaker state without drone invisibility. It's the classic nerf or nothing balance strat from ubisoft
@@johngaynor4363 echo gained a scope. That outweighs the armor change so much that it might as well not have even happened, especially for an anchor.Wai and buck got nerfed, gridlock echo snd ela were buffed. Melusi was nerfed and buffed so it cancels out. There are more buffs than nerfs here.
Notice in the explanation for Echos changes they SPECIFICALLY state that they want to increase Echos PICK RATE. Hes already a MORE than good operator, but they’re planning on buffing him for no particularly good reason if his pick rate doesn’t increase because of the Acog, though Im honestly excited for more Echo changes.
@@GGE he's crazy too, just in general! All his secondary gadgets are great for the Shumikha, and the SMG is just a fun time sometimes. The barbwire update especially helps him. I'm Tachanka's number #2 fan btw 😂
Echo's pic rate is gonna sky rocket and they're gonna get rid of his acog again i swear to God. Headshot meta will always make acog superior on all characters, but especially 3 armors who's main strategy is anchoring. Universal acogs for 3 armors was a good solution to this early on and it baffles me they entire focus on the acog balance on defensive 3 armors when theyre viability is dependent on it. Also holy fuck G you're looking beautiful
@@GreyMan45762 Sledge was a 2/2 for the most part, then he got those back-to-back nerfs with his SMG-11 getting removed and him become a 1/3 speed-armor operator.
To play devils advocate for the devs, since striker was introduced her and buck have become functionally identical Both can soft breach Both can explode things Both can hard breach All in one active loadout for both Taking the gonne six may be a way to distinguish buck from striker a bit Now my suggestion to mellow this out, and earn some community good favor, would be to give buck frags, for several reasons One, by swapping his explosive capabilities from his secondary to his secondary gadget means he cant multitask as well as he used to, as he has to trade a hard breach charge or stuns in order to get that explosive capability Two, by giving buck this distinct restriction, it lessens how identical him and striker are to each other Additionally, striker/sentry, this is how i see it, are meant to be the jack of all trades master of none in siege, meaning every other op has to be more specialized to help highlight both the recruits and the ops themselves Buck and striker at this point are just two of the same operator at this current time, and considering ash/zofia, bandit/kaid, jaeger/wamai, the devs dont want two operators to be functionally the same in this game Tldr: giving buck frags in response to taking the gonne six would be a good idea
@@GGE that would also likely be a better play, since buck is insanely effective at soft breaching already Having him balance between frags and stuns would be an interesting thought experiment, considering how efficiently his gadget pairs with both throwables, make hole, chuck nade I would hope for the three secondary gadget options sort of situation but I'd be fine with the hard breaches getting replaced by frags The major problem with the change is just that they dropped this change with nothing else for buck, if they gave him frags in response to this, akin to what they did with sens, it would likely spark a lot of positive buzz instead and be looked at fondly as a good call later on instead of people just being upset Plus, giving the community a bone would probably help them a lot at this current point
I like banning feninr because I don't like that fact you can hide his gadget, some people hide in the floor boards binding props, it's a pain to look for unlike thorn where it could sorta baited out into activating
Sens is genuinely just an underwhelming op. But ubi needs a better plan of action than, "an op is popular that means they are too broken." Also bring stat bans to pc i dnt even play pc and know these r needed in siege
I'm so happy Ela's getting impacts back, but I wish she was still a 3 speed. Also for recoil try a muzzle brake and pull slightly down it works for a quick 8-10 shot burst
It's nice to see the webcam back G, love your setup. This patch is bringing some interesting changes. This new dev team not enjoying versatile characters is really going to hurt my enjoyment of the game.
man every time i come back to watch siege content im always reminded why i’m glad i left in 2019. this game just seems to be going slowly down the toilet with all the bad changes and the nerfing hardon ubi has
I totally agree with your takes on pickrate balancing. But what’s also egregious with their balancing is that they don’t even so much as look at the characters who are literally RENOWNED to be bad and underpowered. Clash has been rocking that underpowered/underpicked category since she was added, and there has been nothing done to her beyond giving her a much much worse weapon choice than what she already had.
Shields will always be underpowerd and thats fine, they should be situational, the only 2 other ops that are in a dire need of buffs are cav and bb who is getting a rework.
I agree with you when it comes to Melusi. Back when they nerfed her for her weapon and her gadget for the first time. I was hoping that she would’ve gotten a hard hitting/ slow fire rate SMG like the M12 or the UMP. I wanted to see more unique guns get added to ops instead of the MP5 going on another op.
Buck's nerf is (ostensibly) to push his soft breach playstyle. Why doesn't he get claymores to flank watch while he works the vertical as a trade for losing the Gonne-6?
Have to disagree with you on the Fenrir ban. He is a menace. It's like having a flashbang mine in the game that has infinite charges until it's destroyed. And he has 4 of them. Sure they're easy to destroy but they're also very easy to hide.
Impacts on Ela is huge. Everyone dunks on the gun, but with practice, she's really good. You can now with impacts set up an area of denial while giving you more ways to escape. Love this change!
Every patch notes that come out just seem to have a common theme that fun operators aren't allowed and if there is an operator that might be slightly overtuned you can guarantee that they'll be hit with the nerf bat to irrelevancy.
Buck literally had everything. Great gun, soft breach, hard breach, bulletproof util, if you didn’t need the hard breach then you got flashes. I find it hard to believe that you don’t get that him having everything goes against what ubi have been trying to do
Theres something to be said about your transparency and self-awareness that this is... your job. It really adds to the viewer experience and i think youre also extrodinarily good at very clearly stating what is fact vs what is your opinion, which only adds to the idea that you speak your honest mind. TLDR is i thoroughly appreciate your efforts at honesty and clarity through your content.
My guess for dokkiabi change is that she is going to have a hud very similar to demios and you can only call one person at a time but probably get a few more rings.
Fenrir is MUCH less oppressive to go against than he used to be. It's really upsetting to see he's still banned so much over operators like Valk Mute or Azami who are probably just better overall. I was hoping to get to play a decent bit of Fenrir finally this season but hes still banned almost every game
It really feels like Ubisoft nerfs people just because they can. Take Echo for example. This change reverts him back to exactly when he came out (excluding the non invisible drone) what is the point in changing an op just to revert them back. We've seen this time and time again with Glaz and Doki as just some examples
I wonder if with R6S2 they'd have the possibility to change how magnifying optics work, to be more like how they do IRL, more akin to how they're implemented in Squad. Eg. The character isnt holding the weapon in front of their face with the optic nuzzled up to their eyeball 😂 The increased peripheral awareness would level the playing field between magnified/cqb optics, and the reduced "zoom" could possibly help with optics feeling so strong for pixel angles and tapping heads. It would be a massive change tbf. I've never gotten used to using magnifying optics in Tarkov after internalizing Siege's optics mechanics.
I don't really get why they should nerf ops with a high pick rate and relatively low win delta. Ash might be present in almost every round, but nobody can call her overpowered when her win delta is less than 1%. My takeaway from this is that players have a lot of fun playing her, but that's not a reason to swing the nerf bat. That's also true for Dokkaebi and her win delta is even negative. If they want to nerf her, just make the call have a range. Large enough to cover about half of an average sized map would be fine I guess. And we also get a tiny leak I suppose: I heard rumors about a greek sniper being the new op for the next season. The patch notes for azami buff "sniper rifles" in general and Kalis rifle in particular, which kinda makes no sense when Kalis sniper is the only one in that class.
I started not too long before the Ela nerf, i enjoyed the game and noticed both the smg-12 and Elas scorpion evo 3 A1 just looked so easy to use, and strong! So I bought Ela, noticed i had Parkinson's and just couldn't use her gun, bought Vigil, same thing with the smg-12, I figured i was just 💩. Turns out, i missed the golden era of Ela :(and it couldn't have been much more than a week after her nerfs when i bought her 😂
Hey guys look! 9:10 IQ seems to be very well balanced, I think they should make her - 2 speed 2 armor and take her secondary away. (Yes I‘m still very bitter about the Sledge nerfs)

I think the devs are super disconnected from the people that actually play this game...the game has a huge bias towards defense and that is made bigger by the fact that most players don't 5 stack most the time it's duo ,trio queing so attack is allready super hard and then they keep hitting the only attackers that can handle things a Lil bit by themselves(buck,dok,..they haven't touched Ying yet but I see it coming) and then defense has super power ops lesion,kaid+tube,mute,fen, azami, and then scope ops like melusi, doc they have more variety yet still powerful on a round per round basis ....attack isn't fun man that's why alot of games go to round 9 and whoever gets defense in ot has a huge win rate. Frustrating.
I think Azami nerf is fine, confused why buck was nerfed he wasn't that bad, echo got his acog back that's great. Gridlock ability buff isn't enough, gridlock ability should be explosive proof but can still be shot ( maybe add a animation where the spikes fold up loudly when shot) this would make it harder to deal with her ability, with many defender having impacts makes gridlock pretty worthless. I'm also fine with gridlock spike being just impact proof, I don't mind if c4 still works to destroy the spikes
Ubi isnt obsessed with balance, they loathe strength. If they were obsessed with balance tachanka who's been bad for years and sens who's been bad since they came out, but no, they just run strong ops into the ground

What do you think about more, essentially, anti-Melusi changes; like take away one of maestro's gadgets and give him back an acog (he might be a bad example bc of already having an acog on his shotgun and his lmg has almost 100 rounds) Mute is another operator I could throw in there, lose a jammer; he picks up wamais acog?
Yeah it’s wild definitely acts very different too like more “flirty” idk how to describe it , more than anything that threw me off but if it makes ..G happy then no biggie
Honestly as far as ubisoft balancing goes this is a decent patch, it's just frustrating to me as a casual player who's been playinjg this game for years that any time I play an op that I find fun it's almost like a countdown till they get nerfed lol. Melusi being the most recent example with the acog, but the additional banshee makes her better util wise so I guess that's something.
This patch is a step backwards. The wamai nerf wasn’t needed on pc. Buck was a jack of all trades op. He was a generalist. Not great at one thing but good at most. Just a meaningless change that only makes the community mad.
I stopped playing when they took frags away from buck. The ability to drop one on the floor & shoot it through was genuinely so silly and I loved it. Pretty happy with my decision lol
They might as well make Melusi a two speed again. Give her a new gun without the magnified scopes. I’d rather have that and three melusi traps than have for and being slow as fuck.
I actually really liked all these changes. I watched the “Siege’s Balancing is a Nightmare video” that you interviewed the creator of it on a few weeks ago and I have to agree that Siege has made weird balancing decisions. Now, I think this new balancing team actually seems to know what they’re doing. While the Solis nerf is a bit much, the Fenrir nerf isn’t too bad, Ela getting impacts is a W, Melusi getting more utility is great, Wamai is being toned down (console player here who can’t aim for shit), and Echo gets his ACOG back. Genuinely happy with these changes and hopeful for more down the line.
More gadget changes in a similar vain to the Melusi and Gridlock changes are what I want to be considered more by UBI it is more interesting and impactful to try change to gadgets than scopes getting switched.
