@@THEShoky might be bigger than that. Baltmatrix says omega stands 22 inches at the TOP of his wings. Unicron stands 27 inches at the top of his horns.
Saw your post on Twitter and let me add my appreciation for what you do here, at the very minimum you've been a serious help in figuring out how to transform Transformers, as I find a step-by-step video easier to follow than the paper instructions. But beyond that, You are a joy to listen to, even if it's a figure I have no intent to buy, you're reviews are still enjoyable to watch. Keep trucking man, don't let the haters get to you.
It's fitting that they let Countdown hang out with Omega Supreme. Back in G1, he also operated a rocket base, though that one was more Micromaster-scale. Him hanging out with Omega Supreme, who is ALSO a rocket base, works so well.
Balt, I follow you on twitter and all I gotta say is to not to listen to other people’s shit man, do what you love the way YOU want to do it, don’t change unless it’s a change you wanna make
I like him better then the G1. G1 was a parts former and was made for a whole different line of toys. This was made for Transformers. So much more of a transformer. Love it.
I absolutely loved this figure! I am having the same issues with the panels on the rocket, but other than that, really in love with this version of the big guy!
Great review as always and very much appreciated. Just wish I had an extra $150 to pick this up... though it would probably break my current shelves I have for my other figures lol
Wow he is huge! at first when i saw pictures i thought he was gonna be massive! but his still big! and amazing too! also are you excited for siege unicron? and of course love the video!
Love this figure. My only complaint is omega never got a full vehical alt mode with all his components. But g1 was just the robot, base, rocket and tank modes so I'm ok with it
Great review Balt. I made a deck tech video on my channel for Omega’s transformer card from the card game a few months ago. Such a nostalgic character!
Just a quick note for anyone attempting to build a Cybertron City Diorama using the Citybots and the Modulators. Omega Supreme is pretty much a must have for it, not in the least due to the fact that he acts as a bridge between the Titans Return base bots, and the War for Cybertron ones because he has connectors for both.
I've always thought if they ever made new Omega Supreme, I'd definitely try to get it, since his design has always been my favourite from all G1 big bois, as Omega has the kind of neat looking chunky silhouette. Personally I like his head sculpt, as for some reason it reminds me of some sort of old japanese/chinese ancient porcelain masks (maybe because of the clear yellow helmet visor), which I think fits his depiction as ancient guardian
The ramps on the insides actually aren't for other bases to attach to; it uses a very slightly different attachment. Those ramps are used to attach the roadways in different configurations.
I've only ever had the I believe cybertron omega supreme(the blue and yellow) seeing just some of the small details and similarities between the 2 is quite impressive. Specifically the head having the amber cover over the face
The peg in Countdown is to attach him to Omega Supreme's shoulder in robot mode...that and, as you said, probably for use down the road. I'm disabled and collect when I can with the little money I get and hope to get something besides Transformers deluxes sometime. I love all of your videos.
Um my copy of Omega has his swivel joint on the claw arm fused to the plastic on the inside. What should I do to fix that without breaking the entire arm?
Those rachets are so loud that i`m worried they are breaking. Do you think we might end up with the same problem that trypticon did? i actually had to modify mine because his tail rachet was destroying itself. i disassembled it, cut the spring and fabricated a 3D printed washer for the spring to rest on inside the joint.
hey balt um i think you forgot to do something with the canon arm were like you push the tip in to the body of the canon i don't know also there are tiny slots on the back of omega where you clip in the thruster backpack near the bottom they're very tiny
I have the guardian robot version of this because the original siege one goes for unreasonable prices on eBay and Amazon and I know what he is talking about for the rocket
Nice figure but I would've rather had more weathering/ battle damage on it , it would be nice if Hasbro repainted this mold into shattered glass omega supreme or maybe a guardian
Titan's Return Fortress Maximus is slightly taller then the Titan class Metroplex. Fortress Maximus is the largest transformer toy ever made - at least until Hasbro Pulse Unicron comes out.
