I finally picked up one of these. It's super dry and easy to drink with the berry, guava, lychee hop flavors that Darwin identifies. I think I've seen it in six packs too but I'm not sure I want that much of it.
I like it, however, I do agree with you when you said it needs more fruit-forward characteristics. It's definitely drinkable, but it's not something you can drink all day, especially at 8%.
The sales have been fantastic in the 19.2 oz packaging. I see an explosion of these in the retail space. ^ 90% last year…up 60Ish% this year. Only some numbers I’ve seen in northern Michigan. I’ll be looking for this one but I do not like 19.2 oz can personally. (Too much beer in one sitting) especially for big beers. Cheers!
Plenty of stovepipes out here now. 16oz seems plenty especially for II/IIIPAs. I'm headed out to pick up some SN Summerfest Lager as it just dropped in the area. Maybe I'll snag one of these guys too. I've found almost all the Little Things have been quality brews but not interesting enough to merit a re-purchase.
Picked one of these up today in south Florida at Publix, a single. I got this one since I have had dogfish 90 minute. I liked it, a lot. I like this size for my beers. lol
I have not noticed the move to the 19.2 yet where I am at (not too far from you), but will be on the lookout to see if my local spots are moving to that. I get it a 8% should, as you say "punch me harder" if you thought it could be session "like" something must be missing. Cheers!
Just went in and wanted to try something new. I got it before seeing this and decided to see what others thought. It’s okay… idk if I like it lol taste more like grapefruit and beer to me
I do smell the guava and tropical flavors but I must say it smells better than it taste. Lol. I didn’t know this was beer when I bought it hahaha. It’s not bad. The packaging is beautiful and really spoke to me. I’m still getting that grapefruit flavor maybe because of the bitterness.
