@@apmartini70 thank you, finally I got news our damage was around the house but bad, thanks for reply. The inside I am sure 1st floor is flooded. I will be there in 2 days but some cleaners are looking after the outside for now.
@@coffeefish thank you for update. It's brutal with no ac power (except generator), and internet. I see that xfinity is operating since 11pm. Yesterday.
@@mndoss1 When Irma came through, all the weakest links in the power grid were destroyed and then replaced. Hopefully the grid is more updated and the power will be on before too long. It was off for 6 days after Irma. Depending on the neighborhood.
@@coffeefish Irma took us out for three days in Lido. We had lesser structural issues, this one brought more surge. Not sure if we have power, as we have no ac and no one in building except us. Our temp is stopping at 92. Humidity is high. Hall way carpets feel wet in 7th floor. No updates on condition of building. So eone was I. The hallway last night around 10:30pm, and building management said they were not here. Wouldn't a secure building with thobs still detect who came even on generator.
I haven't seen any damage in Venice other than a few tree branches. The winds only got up to around 40mph here, other than a few puddles, everything was basically dry 12 hours after the storm, from what I saw. If a real storm was coming our way, the only shelter they have here is in an elementary school that's in an evacuation zone, very lame of Venice to not build a shelter by the airport, where flooding would be less severe. I have no faith in the city and its officials.
@@coffeefish Funny thing about recording, all the recording we're doing of temperatures on the planet says it's warming which means *even worse storms than we would have had otherwise.*
