Looks like the best P320 trigger I've ever seen. It's good he tests for drop safety an knows what he's doing. Have seen many people do their own mods to Glocks and not realize they bypassed both the drop safety and the striker safety, making the gun possible to go off from shock or vibrations. (with some not knowing there was a problem until the gun fired on them or shot them). ...and all they had to do was watch Johnny Glocks videos.
Love my X-Comp Ultra!!!! Just got the Agency Arms trigger for it and I hope I can use some of this info to get mine tweaked just right. You got some nice bangers.
I'm excited! The creep is the thing that gets me after I polished and lightened the springs .. I can really feel the engagement with the safety lever and then there is a little creep in between when that is at end of travel then I hit the sear wall it's a light pull I just hope you have found the cure... Lol
I’m definitely getting there I’m about to run some other tests today and then if all goes well will be time to start working on the actual kit to sell but u will be on the super discount list.
My 320 is a little heavier on the recoil spring but my full agency 320 is just as smooth as my staccato. I’ve got over 60 hrs in polish in the Fcu and the armory crafty trigger tune kit. Love the 320 platform.
When can we see the kit for sale?? I personally wouldn't want to send out my EDC (since it's my only EDC) to get a trigger job done if you have a kit available for it! Thank you!
What recoil spring and weight are you using? I've got the PMM set up and just ordered Max Michel's Competition Trigger Spring Set, as well as the DPM Recoil Spring for my Sub Compact Slide. Looking for the recoil reduction and quicker follow ups with these parts. I'm planning to use the DPM on 115 grain speed plinking, then put my stock 16 lb recoil spring for the Buffalo Hardcast ammo I ordered too.
Tyrant trigger is one of the triggers I’ve been looking at for my M18. Everything is stock except the tan WC carry grip. Can’t decide which trigger and what color.
If you don't mind me asking, what does he tig weld for the trigger job? ...and I noticed he actually fixed the problem of the slide moving up/down when you pull the trigger (from the question I just asked in my previous comment). Any idea how he did that? (I can see there are a few ways, but I'm just wondering what the most recommended way would be). Wondering if it's a modification to the rails, or to the wide part of the frame, or something else.
Out of the box P320 feels almost like Glock. Well, it is actually little better, but not a huge difference. I have installed Apex Tactical trigger kit - that was game changer!
1:50 ... Yeah, you have to test the trigger with a magazine with snap caps in it. Otherwise (when empty) the slide gets pulled down with the sear when you pull the trigger and your trigger pull is very different. You can have a great trigger when the magazine is installed, but then when you pull the trigger with no magazine, it can hang up or even not fire at all. I was actually coming into the comment section to see if you had an idea on what the best way would be to get rid of that up/down play/slop in the slide.
@@SkipsGunz I know you don't get rid of it entirely... but it's definitely less noticeable on the gun to the right than the one to the left. You have no creep in that trigger at all, not even when there's no magazine in it (which wouldn't be possible with excessive up/down movement). I know guns that are too perfectly fit can have reliability issues, esp when dirty... but some P320's seem to have excessive movement and can't be tuned very well, because of it.
Is this JUST the AC dual adjustable with the OEM trigger bar? I’m thinking of doing the AC trigger with the Alex trigger bar and AC +10% return spring. Idk if the AC will work with the Apex tho and most people say don’t EDC the AC DA
Glock triggers have quite a bit of mush. I would say the stock P320 trigger is better all day than a stock Glock. Solid channel, keep up the good work!
I’ve had my p320 for a few years but never upgraded anything on it. I really want that mush/creep out of the trigger. How’s your kit coming along? And will they work with tyrant designs trigger?
I am very interested in your trigger kit, if you want an unbiased tester please let me know. Not looking for a freebee just enjoy modifying and shooting. Keep up the great channel.
My issues isn’t how the trigger feels, it’s how it sounds. For example a Glock has a loud and tactile click when the trigger is pulled while dry firing. On the sig the triggger sounds weak almost hollow and can barely hear it when dry firing. When shooting you are right you don’t notice anything and the gun shoots every time, but when you dry fire it every time you do you ask yourself why does it sound so weak, hollow, not a solid click. It makes you think something is wrong with it, but again mine shoots just fine so there isn’t anything wrong with it. The reset is louder than the trigger pull lol.
@@SkipsGunz it’s a great gun though and I’ll keep mine forever. By the way I don’t have the standard P320. I have the M18. I know it’s basically a modified P320. Strangely enough my P365 is the opposite. Nice and loud and solid click when trigger is pulled and solid reset. Weird I know, but true.loved your video though and I just subbed and liked it.
These guns have to have a tad bit of take up. You are disabling one of their safeties if it is directly on the wall “Firing pin safety” unless you have done something internal wise to mitigate that.. just an fyi
Yeah she’s modified internally Iv went threw it thoroughly from a saftey point this is 5months of testing and I think besides the tig wields I’m right at the Sig armors approach. I absolutely appreciate the help though truthfully
@@SkipsGunzI would argue that pre-travel is NOT a safety. Keep you finger off the trigger until you've committed to shoot. From personal experience working in areas of conflict, I can assure you that a small or long amount of pre-travel means nothing. You can have the heaviest, mushiest trigger and you wont remember the difference. What does count is proper and consistent training with the system you carry.
nice builds man. That second trigger looks awesome. I'm not super experienced with triggers, but was considering maybe an apex trigger for my 320. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have the wilson combat frame on it, which has more grip and makes the mag release better for how I hold the gun. Simplicity is all good with me, but I would like to spruce up the trigger.
Can you take the springy/mush out of the break with an Agency arms shoe ?? I’d buy that I was disappointed I want that crisp break the agency gives in a Glock but in a 320 with the added safety of the trigger safety
@@SkipsGunz I may just do that I was the guy that reached out about my Prodigy but even after 2 trips back to SA I never got it to run halfway reliably. It got so bad SA bought it back from me and I got a Bul Armory instead
At some point one has to accept trigger as good enough. This is "hinged" trigger ,never gonna feel same as 1911 trigger that has straight pull. That don't mean that I can double tap faster with one then the other. Maybe in slow target style shooting it would make a difference ,for action shooting even stock x5 trigger is just fine. Armory Craft or sig armorer triggers do help a bit ,but they won't make you better Action shooter . Keep up the good work
I completely disagree. Thats liek saying, Hey, we made it to Mars! No reason to try and go further. I have the AC trigger, and its mushy and creepy as hell. These systems need serious tinkering.
I went back to watch it past the 9:20 to see if you got to the "trigger job(pulling like a Staccato XC) and you NEVER got to the "trigger job" in your title.
At 5mins I’m literally telling u showing u the trigger job I sell this I’m not giving you details on what I did. If your interested in sending me the fcu and I’ll send it back with the best trigger u ever felt on a 320 contact me on IG message or email at steykaerts1983@aol.com also don’t be so rude we’re a community at SGz
