The Sig P365 is quite a piece of shooting equipment! This is one of the most shootable ultra compact 9mm's on the market. And probably the only one that holds 10 rounds in so small a space. Nice going Sig!
I am honestly amazed at how you can keep going from gun to gun and be competitive. I go to the range and seldom get close to your results except for just a couple of guns. I truly admire your skill.
This was weird, my son told me yesterday that at the local Saturday IDPA match there was a guy shooting a P365, he loved it and did very well in the match. Then a pro by the name of Patrick E. Kelly backs it up with a video! You are still the man and cool cat. Thanks again.
The P365 is my production gun that I run in SCSA here in Michigan. Being 6'2" husky fella I get some odd stares from the other competitors. I have a ways to go but my goal for this year is to make B class in Production with my P365.
LOVE my P365, and it’s a sweet sweet shooter, but I can’t believe how you did so well with it in a match. That’s a true testament to your skills. GREAT GREAT video!
Well done Patrick, I recently purchased one of these for an off duty carry, and I shot 100 rounds out of it within the first 4 hours of owning it, right out of the box! Didn't even clean it! Shot like a dream and not one malfunction! Sig has a winner on this one!.... Tony Parrish.... Cochise County AZ
Nice to have a review from you again! Thanks for your opinion! I was already looking into getting the P365, and this just solidifies that decision. Your voice is a valuable one in this community!
Welcome back, Pat. Totally would have understood if you never came back. Your love for what you do, translates. Your very much appreciated, God bless my brother.
I got mine in May 2018...it has worked perfectly. I really enjoy shooting it. Never leave at home when I go shooting...Can't carry in New Jersey! (I enjoyed your video...subscribed)
Pat, I don't know why you don't have at least 200,000+ subs but you are very entertaining, informative and down right fun to watch. I had an early release p365 and really liked it but I just couldn't trust it at the time so I traded it off. Now they seemed to have worked the bugs out and after watching you banging that steel so well I have decided to purchase another one. Sig you can thank Pat for that lol. 👍👍
Glad you are back, I really don’t understand why you don’t get 50,000 views per video or more, love watching you shoot, love the variety of guns, great ambassador for shooting sports, any age can watch because no F bombs flying around, class act all the way, thx Mr Kelley!
I suspect the way to run is with a ten round, P365 grip but with a P365 XL barrel/slide. The smaller grip height of the P365 is the easiest to conceal, and the extra barrel length of the XL gives not only better sight radius and lower felt recoil, but also substantially better ballistic effect. Best of both worlds.
Outstanding job! Enjoyed the video and your shooting! I’ve had my P365 since late April 2018 and it has been my EDC since then... other than the slide intermittently not locking back on empty magazines in the beginning (which I attribute to my grip technique since I no longer have that problem after more experience with the gun) it has run flawlessly! Thanks and please continue to share your shooting adventures 🙌
Great to see you back at the range and providing us with unbiased review of pistols. I love that you take a handgun right out of the box and put it through its paces in cameras, good or bad. Don't know of anyone else doing this.
OutadaBox todaMatch! Whoot! been looking forward to seeing these videos again. Love to see you slinging lead again Pat. As always having a qualified opinion from a competitive professional always ads value.
So happy you are back! Coincidentally I just bought this gun on Friday. Haven't shot it yet. Just waiting on 2 12 round magazines to come in. Looks like a sweet shooter!
Great performance with such a compact carry gun! I am happy to see you back in competition - rock on ;-) you are a lucky guy to have a gun club that holds monthly steel competitions. I am happy to find a steel match every once a while in Austria :-/
Sometimes "We"shooters make too much of things that don't really matter. If the tool works... hits close to the sights and doesn't make ME bleed over the course of a few hundred rounds...it will do the job. OH and thank you for digging the and sharing the quote!
Patrick E. Kelley - Yes, when I hear trigger complaints - I say practice more. (I’m not close to the best, but I don’t blame the gun) That said - you sold me on the PPQ M2 a few years back and I can appreciate a good trigger. Thanks for everything you do!
Glad to see you back shooting the Out of the Box sets! Great gun. I have 2. Definitely shows that you love what you are doing! Can't wait for the XFive!
So happy to see you back! I have been waiting for a out of the box & to the match video & you delivered. Thanks, love this series!! Hope you are doing well.
From the box to the match review is the most genuine gun content on youtube. You say "I'll never be the most popular on the internet".... You could try tutorials on how to apply makeup, those seem to do really well 😉. As far as gun content goes, you are already the best, so don't sweat it. Keep doing what you are doing and the world will notice. (Also, I like "Goofy Pat", you are like the internet's funny uncle)
Great shooting, and thanks for the honest review of the P365. I also really like the size and the ease of shooting this pistol. Keep giving us great content!
Vote for Pat to be the best master Roshi, in next live action dragon ball Z!! Love the vid, great review!! Great to see you at the range with a out of the box review.
This is what I've been waiting for. Great to see you back on the range. You've look as if you've lost a bit of weight brother. Now I know as we get older we go one of two ways. We get lean and mean, or old muscles decide to turn to a blob like jelly. Then retire south from our chest to our waistline. LOL! Take care of yourself Patrick. .
Great to see you back Pat, and that was a hit on your 7:15 run. You didn't catch the whole plate but it moved and pinged. Though call for the RO, it can be hard keeping up with you really fast shooters :)
@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun Sir, I didn't think the 2.0 was more expensive then the P365. Maybe up in Washington. Down in LA (Lower Alabama) near Mobile. The 2.0 was the 2nd gun I ever bought, a year ago. Enjoy all your videos sir.. try to stay well so you can keep making them!
I enjoy this series but the occasional detour is good too. Make a video of the gun you normally wouldn't. The one you'd drag out just for fun or your favorite match gun for showing off. Don't care if it's an Open Major or a vintage Colt Ace as long as it's something you're enthusiastic about ripping short elapsed times with. Another idea is a gun drag race: since you can shoot the same match twice, compare the total times of one gun against another; like a Shadow 2 vs Q5 Match Steel Frame. Don't care if they're out of the box, borrow them if necessary. The same pro shooting the same course of fire on the same day would yield some very interesting results.
Big fan of your channel, especially the "out of the box" reviews. I always enjoy watching some who REALLY knows how to shoot. One question... Do you have a Patreon account? I donate money to gun channels that I don't like HALF as much as yours.
Pat if your support thumb were any longer you'd shoot that guy's head off Lol! I always love that your videos show real world capability of the firearm in @ somewhat intense levels that is confidence building when considering the purchase of a new firearm and whether if with some range time you could defend your life with any degree of accuracy. Fantastic display given the size and intended purpose of that little bugger. Great to see you back on the range Sir. Look forward to seeing more in the future. God Bless and we'll see you in the next video.
Would like to see a couple self defense videos. Not a lot since there are channels dedicated to that and I like your channel for what it is but, I would like to see your take on this.
Impressive shooting for such a small pistol ! Looks accurate as all get out too ! I carry a Sig P-938 and I know it isnt as accurate as that P-365 !!! My range is having a hard time keeping them in stock !
In the intro you said something to the effect of "I don't mind my pinky hanging off" of the 10-rd. mag. But then you did remark in the middle that the 12-rd. made it "more fun to shoot". You didn't mention if any of your 10-rd. mags had the little pinky-rest extension base, nor whether you had more than one of the 12-rd size. No strong feelings one way or the other for shoot-ability?
I bought a used one a couple months ago. I bet it had about one box of shells through it. I’ve only shot 2 boxes but I like it. Is there a gen 1 and gen 2?? Seems like I read the newer ones have some slight changes
Thanks for this vid Pat !! Any chance you can try out the HK45 in a steel match? Also, out of curiosity have you ever participated in a Haley Strategic class in San Jose,CA? About 6 years ago?
I have a HK45 and will get to it later this year. No, that wasn't me mister, "musta been some-other-body no, no child it wasn't me." (George Thorogood)
Everyone going nuts over this firearm because of its size and 10 rounder capacity. How does it compare to the Keltec p11 when it first came out ? I’m not hating on the p365 because I myself would like to own one. I just found that the Keltec p11 was small to conceal for its size AND was/is a 10 rounder. Does anyone know the size and weight comparisons of these 2 firearms? It just seem like folks think that this is a giant leap for Sig Sauer ,when I feel they are not the first to accomplish making a gun of this size to hold 10 rounds.
Couldn’t resist, went out and got a 365... Put 125 through it at 10 and 20 yards. Shot it side by side against a G48... WAY easier to hit with than the G48. Hits point of aim/point of impact. I’m a ‘Glock guy’, but will definitely start carrying the Sig 365.
