Thank you for this, SERIOUSLY ! I was trying to find out the difference between these two on Sig's own website, but the site is horrible to navigate. Nothing but love to Sig, but their models & variants are getting out of control.
It would be great if someone did a P365 "all variations" video that highlighted the difference in girth between the modules.! Most comparisons seem to just gloss over the girth. Your lighting was great, it had the perfect amount of contrast that showed the difference in length between the grips!
I started with 365 then after shooting a bunch with flush 10 vrs the slightly extended 12rd mag i was faster on my draw to fire with that little extra grip. Since I always carried it that way, i just spent the $60 and bought the X frame for it and did the mag guts upgrade so 14+1 and no hand pinch when swapping mags. This gun is like legos, if you own 1 you can transform it into any of the varaints even the new macro or flux raider 365 and have it just the way you like.
I have watched countless videos on this comparison and there isn't a single one of you that will compare the width of the grip from the back... so frustrating.
From the back they are the same width so I never compare them. The length and heights are the only difference. Let me know if you have any questions on it.
There is a difference in recoil between them but I’m not sure if it is due to the dovetail or because the grip is smaller so I don’t have my whole hand around the grip. That being said I don’t think the recoil is bad on either one.
As far as I am aware the only difference is the lack of iron sites on the top and the controls on the side being flush on the SAS. What other differences are there?
It is the 507k and this sig is older so the optic is the rear site, but I have looked at the 507k on a p365 with the rear sight and the do co-witness. However, I prefer the co-witness of the sig optics (romeoZero and romeoX) better. I don’t have either of the sig optics and have never shot them so I can’t speak to their reliability or durability.
I already tried and you’re right, there isn’t a difference. I decided to rent the P365XL and the Glock 43x and they’re both just as good and even better. Thank you for your response.
The P365 X uses the XL slide and barrel. But the parts are all interchangeable between the X, XL, and P365. The Xmacro has a longer dust cover so the P365 slide won’t work on that one.
They both can come optic ready. There are standard P365s that aren’t optic ready, but there are some that are as well. I don’t think you can get the P365X in a non-optic ready though.
Is the thickness of the grip the same or does the Sig P365x have a more thicker grip if that makes sense? Got the Sig P365 last month and I love it, but the grip is a lil smaller than what I’d like. CA just added the P365x onto the roster so was thinking to myself if I messed up 🥲
They are the same width. But you can get the Wilson combat grip that is a bit wider or you can buy the sig xl grip that is a bit longer and would need a different mag.
