We feel honored to watch Pete demoing our FAFNYR guitar - just AWESOME - thanks alot. Guitar tech talk: Our Fafnyr FF-7 model has a medium fanned fingerboard of 25,50 - 26,50" therefore most guitarists who so far have played traditional guitars will have no problems to get used to this fanned board. The wood combination enables a full bodied - easy to play - and good resonating tone with a nasty bite in the upper mids coming from the Zebra wood fingerboard which has some tonal similarities to hardmaple. The pickups used here is a personal tip from one of our customers: A Bareknuckle "Painkiller" in neck position provides a warm, singing tone with creamy top end and sustain galore. The Bare Knuckle "Black Dog" at bridge position has just a little more output than a vintage Humbucker. That`s why this pickup never sounds muddy or compressed like some high gain pickups, still having enough power in the mid frequenzies to cut through the mix.
